I agree with Miguel that Margarito doesn't deserve a rematch. I love how Margarito acts like he would be doing Miguel a favor to give him a rematch, its really funny. Fact is Margarito did lose all his credibility and we don't know if he has ever beat a top opponent without cheating. Margarito needs to work from the bottom of the barrel and prove himself in the sport and by the time he reaches that plateau it will be time for Miguel to retire. Get back in line Margarito, I see it's hard for you to realize that not only did you lose a year in boxing you also lost anything you accomplished on your resume. You are nothing till you prove your way in the sport, cleanly.

Cotto was the one that put Margarito in the spotlight by giving him a chance in the first place, he does not have to do it again.
Let Margarito works his way up through the ranks if he can and maybe in the future Cotto will give him his shot(like Cottos last fight in boxing..lol).
For all those that believe Cottos is scared or his fans(Spare me). Cotto should go on and fight Floyd, PW, Shane II etc., any and everyone that is "feared" as usual, and in 3-4 years maybe even move up and fight every feared and name there too. Then maybe Cheato Dont give the cheater a hand up again.

Margarito has got Cotto shook. End of story. If Cotto really thought he was cheated, he would try to avenge that defeat. But he'd rather go after a former Flyweight and fight a rematch with him after the first fight than fight someone his own size. Notice of how he never gave Clottey a rematch or Mosley a rematch in Vegas like Mosley demanded. Cotto is pretty much similar to Margarito. His style only works against smaller guys. Both are overrated fighters, but it just so happens that Cotto is the more overrated of the two. Sure, he fought on practically even terms with Mosley for most of the fight, but when it got down to the last rounds Cotto was looking for a place to hide because he was winded and ready to go. Clottey is the only guy that Cotto has beat that's a full fledged Welter, and he barely survived that fight because of Clottey's lack of mental toughness. Mosley outlanded Cotto in power punches and rocked Cotto more than Cotto rocked him.

This has 2 sides to it. On one side, it makes perfect sense that Cotto doesn't want to give a cheater that possibly ruined a better future for himself a nice fat payday. On the other hand, it would be nice for Cotto to prove that without those loaded gloves, Margarito probably would have lost or gave up the desire after eating so many flush shots instead of knowing his bricks would eventually kick in where Cotto would get weaker instead of him. But it would be an entertaining fight again, so why not? Either both get bricks this time, or not. I'd watch it!
