if Cotto would weigh 148 lbs i think the fight will happen and they would take a $3 Million fine. win or lose Manny would still take a minimum of $15 Million. his retirement payday. but i dont see Cotto would do a Mayweather trick. only Mayweather can do that and het away with it.

yeah no fight would be absolute worst case scenario and I know Cotto would get the blame for not hitting 145, however the fight really shouldn't be at a catchweight in the first place, so argue on.
everyone's talked how Cotto will weight 12 or more lbs on fight night.
and Roach's response has been that "Cotto can weight 160 on fight night, but speed will win it for us." or something along those lines
been said already, but if a couple pounds won't matter, why the catchweight ? if Manny's speed will win on fight night
Roach and team should have just taken Cotto on with no catchweight.
rather then all the weight talk.
Why not fight a fighter at his best?
and besides trying to drain him (talks of fight weight being 143) is very cowardly.
granted the Cotto-Pacquiao is still set to go down, but it amazes me that so much crap could have been avoided had the fight just been at straight up Welterweight

roach has stated that pac is hitting like a middleweight and that he wil destroy cotto. ive really come to dislike roach. before he said it didnt matter if cotto weighed 200 lbs that pac would still win. he suppose to be a boxing god but all this fus over 2 pounds for a belt that shouldnt even be on the line.Comment

They ain't canceling it if Cotto comes in overweight. They're both promoted by Arum and it would be a financial nightmare to cancel it at the last moment.
