As far as Gato getting kicked from camp... after hearing both sides, it just sounds to me like Cotto wasn't actually trying to fight he was there to learn and work on his technique. Gato, probably took advantage of that and maybe started boxing instead of actually imitating Cotto's opponent as he is supposed to as a sparring partner. Maybe he started boxing, getting some shots in and then showed off while doing it. Then again he could have just been eating Cotto alive, and as Cotto said he was there to learn not fight.

Personally, I think its somewhere in the middle. I find it a lot easier to believe that Gato got a good shot in, got ****y and started ****ing around. Instead of doing what he had just done to get Cotto better, he got full of himself and possibly started showing off in the ring just hitting Cotto with a jab and boxing instead fighting like Manny. If I was Cotto I would have just decked that ****sucker, but Cotto has a lot more class than me. I'm sure they said "Look man... you got a good one in, nice job. Keep it up so we can work on it." Instead he didn't listen, stopped doing what he was supposed to and they finally had enough.
