Pavlik is very lucky he didn't face Abraham.

Pavlik having this staph infection does not change the fact that he bitched out of fighting Arthur. Arum knew the deal with that. Pavlik is another example of a guy who may be the champion, but not the best fighter in the division just like Baldomir and Hatton. He is better than those guys, but you get the point.

Khoren Gevor, the current European middleweight champion, who lost a controversial decision to WBA champion Felix Sturm earlier this year. So he´s not even a bad fighter.

No sure what ur basing this on. He beat Jermain Taylor in a competitive fight and knocked him out with one punch with 12 seconds left. Pavlik Knocked jermain out and beat him decisively in the rematch.

If the fight were to take place at middleweight if anything it would of been Pavlik winning easily. Abraham was getting pretty drained at that weight.

I'd like to see it personally...it be competitive.

Arthur Abraham is a strong puncher. But he is just to open every time he throws a punch. If his opponents can capitalize with that then he will be in big trouble.

Yeah Abraham is a beast, but why so much hate on Pavlik? I don't buy into the hype just yet and I think Pavlik would beat Abraham. Abraham's 2 biggest wins are against Pavlik left overs Taylor and Miranda (I know Abraham beat Miranda first, but the fight was competitive while Pavlik totally destroyed Miranda). It's also possible that Taylor was shot in that last fight and just lost 3 of his last 4 (2 by ko). Even though Hopkins totally outclassed Pavlik, no one on Abraham's record is half as good as B-Hop. Pavlik is a straight shooter, while Abraham throws really wide looping punches leaving himself open. Until I see how Abraham does in the tournament, I say Pavlik wins.
