    That's not how boxing works

Usyk doesn't stop Rico in round 12 because you say he does

Rico is Known for his recovery skills, he wasn't any more hurt than fury was in the 9th when they let that go and Usyk didn't stop him, he didn't stop AJ in round 12 did he, plenty of people have been hurt by Usyk and survived

Its basically what happens to ALL boxers who start to bodybuild and lift weights to gain weight. They become slow, flat footet and looks nothing like themselves. Usyk better get down.

No one knows what would've happened if the ref made the right call, and Rico fought on to the 12th.

It's ridiculous when ppl say "he would've been knocked out".
Rico may have gone to dec, where everyone would expect him to win on pts

Imagine if it went to dec & they read off those corrupt scorecards?
Boxing would turn into a joke over night

So the referee did make a poor decision with the mouthpiece, but didn't make one with stopping the fight after the end of the round?

It's impossible to explain to people simple boxing rules: Rico got knocked down. The referee must and did so - start counting. After Rico beat the count, he had to go to the next corner, his corner, to have the mouthpiece washed and back into his mouth. You can't do that while being counted, nor can the referee count and save you time by doing it himself at the same time.

Now imagine the same situation if both fighters switch roles...

Some people are fine with corruption only when it serves Usyk. No one defended, let's say Canelo, as he is the number one in that aspect (followed by Usyk).

There are specific exercises to build muscle that are good for boxing. Usyk never looked like a bodybuilder, nor do you see him doing such exercises. The one who looks so is AJ, for example. For some reason, Usyk was lost in the ring, not that he was slow, surely he isn't slower than Rico.

It is the biggest scandal of boxing right now, the order of events was that (1) Rico dodged the very last punch of a swarm of punches that were barely having an effect, (2) The bell already rang (3) the referee waved it off.

We are too harsh on kickboxers. They can give boxers run for their money.

Usyk got robbed of a highlight KO and a great clean come back after being at his very worst. Only elites can do that.

The ref should have not stopped the fight. Doesnt matter - he will rematch him and beat him with ease. Then retire as an ATG and one of boxing GOATs.

The rematch should happen because Usyk will despite his legendary career then always be remembered as that boxer that got slapped around the ring by a 6 month beginner and got assigned a Win outside of regular round time.

Nah he’s just not the GOAT.

ATG for sure and incredible boxing skills but he can’t fight inside. His inside game is piss poor and we saw glimpses of this vs Del Boy. As some others have said, I’d favour pretty much all elite level swarmers to not just beat him but to ragdoll his ass.

Inoue is the best of this generation. I put Bam ahead of him to and Crawford. Maybe even Bivol.
