We have a guy you idiots are calling an all time great hw without even 10 fights in the division, was getting his azz beat and outboxed by a KICKBOXER, with no amateur boxing experience and 1 fight, through 10 rounds. But yeah, we are "too harsh" towards Usyk. lol

Only a handful of heavyweights have ever held the championship belt past 39 years of age, one was George Foreman, the other Vitali Klitschko the third is Oleksandr Usyk.

Based off that last performance against Rico, I'd give any top heavyweight today a 50/50 or better chance to beat Usyk, this includes Dubois, Fury, and Kabayel.

bar is set too low for Oleksandr by his fanboys when they're seriously entertaining trilogies with Danny and Flabby Fury

both who he already beat twice consecutively

these low standards are a c 0cktail of:

      heavyweight privilege

euroids being happy that there's finally a great heavyweight who looks like them

the whole hero of ukraine myth

Speaking of heavyweights, Briedis did it better against Usyk than Fury and Joshua did.

Prime Usyk is a cruiserweight. Usyk cleaned out hw division in his late 30s.

People overlook that Rico trained 6 months for usyk. Usyk going into fight cold, didn't know what rico does as a boxer. That's huge advantage for rico

Again: Usyk is "the high IQ in the ring" - he didn't figure out Rico for 10 rounds? Was his team not capable of analysing Rico's movements anyway? Rico was not at a disadvantage, being against the conservatism and the fear of boxing, to admit that people from other sports could do well or even great at boxing? Wasn't it Rico transitioning to boxing, i.e. limiting his habits and skills only to improve and learn others within 6 months?

People overlook that Rico has 0 amateur boxing fights and 1 four round pro fight 10 years ago, and has never fought a 12 round boxing match in his life. And is 37 years old and retired from a different sport. That’s a huge advantage for Usyk.

Usyk will be in shape against Kabayel.
Dude, not for nothing, you are constantly overly critical of other boxers, especially when you don’t like them.

You’re upset Usyk is getting the same treatment you give out. Lmfao.

                Come on Jake!

One thing was for sure here. Usyk's legs looked gone. His in and out movement was nearly completely absent. Whether that was aging, the extra weight or just coming a tad under prepared for Rico.

Rico did great for the look Usyk gave him, but I'm not sure that's the Usyk any of us expected. Usyk without leg movement isn't much different than many other subpar fighters out there.

Tyson Fury lost the fight. Francis Ngannou landed the more power punches, and scored a knockdown 'the only statistics were Tyson Fury out competed Francis Ngannou was landing a higher number of jabs'.

Note: You make out like Tyson Fury was out working Ngannou by miles 'tell everyone the number, that which he out landed Francis Ngannou by? It was 12 punches'.

And those 12 extra punches which Tyson Fury landed, what did they achieve? Any knockdowns? No 'Tyson Fury before he won vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov had lost his last three fights, vs. Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Uysk twice back to back'.

To conclude: So Francis Ngannou threw the higher number of power punches, scored a knockdown and inflicted the most damage in the fight 'This is professional boxing, and fights are scored via style, damage and aggression. Francis Ngannou won the fight in all the most important areas'.

Oleksandr Uysk did not perform as expected by many vs. Rico Verhoven 'but at least when he decided to put the hammer down, he was able to inflicted damage on Verhoeven and forced a stoppage'.

Both performances from Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk were not great 'but I personally think Fury's was way worst of the two performances' etc.

Usyk would.....if not knocking him out...would have at least dropped him more than once in the final round. Fury said it best when he said Rico put up a great fight but just ran out of energy.
Yes, I feel that if Rico hadn't gassed, we might be looking at a new HW boxing champ whose roots are in kick boxing.
