Comments Thread For: Filip Hrgovic being lined up for Moses Itauma in August

Filip Hrgovic goes into his Doncaster contest with Dave Allen on Saturday as a significant favorite and, should the Croat win, another big fight awaits him.

Hrgovic is too slow and hittable. Itauma with the smoke inside of three rounds.

I don't know what happened with Hrgovic, but he is getting slower and more lethargic with every fight. Otherwise, with limited technique, but he could have done a lot better, having good power and a solid chin. He used to be a lot faster as an amateur, even more explosive.

He will most likely end as an indication of how much Itauma is prepared for the big game, with no chance to win (except if Itaume dosen't surprise us with a weak chin).

Hrgovic would be a big test for Itauma. he has a great chin.

I know everybody wants to see Itauma against usyk or Dubois, but lets see if he can beat Hrgovic.

If Hrgoviv had better stamina and was slightly quicker he'd actually be world class, he reminds me a bit of Vitali Klitschko. He must've landed about 800 right hands on Dubois head when they fought lol.

Itauma would take out Hrgovic within 6 but he'll also get hit properly for the first time

Itauma`s chin has never been checked. Hrgovic would do it just fine. Hrgovic would land some big shots.

                Great fight if it happens.

But we did see what Zhang did to Hrgovic with his southpaw style.

With Moses' speed and movement, and Hrgovic's questionable stamina, it's easy to think Moses wins easily.

But I still like the fight, Hrgovic would come to win, even if he is naturally outgunned. He's got to drag Moses through the trenches.

I must be way off on the assessment of these two.

Without overrating Hrgovic, I'd think Ituama would need at least one more before that. I'd be surprised if that fight got made next.

But how long is the list of guys who want this fight in particular. I've only heard two guys say they want this fight and that is Nelson Hysa and Hrogvic.

If they are really trying to "go for it" now then It should be someone who wants to win, is tough and still trying to ascend or make it back to the top. Hrgovic does fit the bill, but the experience makes him potentially more than that for an Ituama right now.

If it got made next, I'd have to buy into some of the hype, it'd be must watch.

I've been thinking Hysa (also with Queensbury) would be a good opponent before fighting Hrgovic, but maybe that's wrong, also too much unknown danger but he lacks big fight experience like Moses.

It's wide open, HW really is interesting right now.
