Saul Santos controlled Caleb and ko’d him. Fat Dave 8-4’d him with Caleb being up 4-2 going into the 2nd half

Top Soviet Bivol will have to be on his clinch game + duck and roll under to get out

getting away with this shows just how talented Fat Dave is
Canelo is not better at cutting of the ring. Canelo was exposed many time that he can't cut off the ring this never changed from Lara to Scull or even in the Plant fight.

Plant looked very good and elusive against Canelo. Yes he got tired andwas knocked out but Benavidez got to Plant earlier than Canelo and inflicted more damage early on. Plant A learned from his Canelo fight and according to himself was in way better condition to remain his shape and B the referee really helped him survive.

I'm not gonna argue who beat Plant in better fashion but i'm convinced Benavidez is better at fighting pure boxers that using footwork soley by his long jab and also his ability to cover dinstance way quicker than Canelo also him being kind of reckless but at the same time his reflexes make him avoid getting hit with big shots most of the time and very important Canelo is scared of gassing out thats why he is too lazy to put in effort to chase down a guy and let his hands go.

You saying Bivol will have to be on his clinch game. I usually agree with a lot you saying but i couldnt disagree more on this one. Benavidez is the worst opponent to apply a clinch strategy i can't remember one fighter who wasn't getting hurt whileclinching Benavidez. Plant got hurt several times, Andrade, even Morrell took big shots while trying to clinch, Yarde was badly hurt while attempting to clinch and lastly Zurdo yesterday who ate several hard shots everytime he tried to clinch. Benavidez sometimes even actively starts the clinch to let you feel secure and then come with his left hook thats one of his favorite things to do.

Do i believe he gets knocked out? I'm not sure what to think, i believe Zayas will give Boots trouble and make him miss more often than Boots likes and maybe frustrates him a bit. I do believe Boots is a heavy favorite and if he really losses or it's a real struggle for him it's most likely because Boots is going to hard for a statement/highlight reel type of knockout and deviates from the gameplan

If i have to predict i would say UD for Boots in a more competetive fight than many expect. What about you?
Tough one to call. I need to watch Zayas' last fight again but if I was forced to pick now I go for a late Boots TKO.

Just a great fighter who honed his skills over the years sparring everyone in the gyms from a young age. Guy was in there with champions at 15-16 years old and holding his own. Be interesting to see where he goes next because Opetaia fight doesn’t look to likely and he could have options at 175lbs but he’s gotta be up there now as one of the best pound for pound in the world because he’s going in there and he’s demolishing everyone because nobody has done that to Zurdo he just basically walked through him and he was the guy coming up in weight

No way the first half of Caleb Dave belonged to Caleb

Saul Santos was cutting Caleb off as early as round 1

Clinching to halt Fat Dave’s offense beats infighting with him where he can fire his fast flurries the real killer

Top Soviet Bivol will need to bob & weave out his way off the ropes or clinch as last resort

a good tight high guard can work too Cuban Dave often shielded himself with one

cong**** to david good win at a new weight

its a real pity that he never got the top guys at both 168 & 175

175 i can understand bivol and beter had 2 big fights and just couldnt get it fully sorted and now with age injuries and part III its turned into a right mess, noone really wants to see part III anyway as far as i can

david v bivol will surely happen sometime but the path is still not smooth maybe david would be better off 1 more fight at cruiser v jai if it could be made, jai would be a harder fight than zurdo though so bit risky but what a win if he gets it

Cant wait to see that.

If Bivol fights Eifert and Beterbiev this year then Benavidez should definitely try for Jai Opetaia.

He wins that fight by stoppage in my opinion and stamps himself as the best cruiserweight in the world.

We might get Top Soviet Bivol Fat Dave THIS YEAR

I have a feeling Top Soviet gets a better offer for Fat Dave than the trilogy

Sure and you probably think he ram from Canelo too.

Benavidez took Bivol WBC belt and Bivol did nothing about it cause he is a puss.
