Shakur and Bam did not face better competition. Get real old men and tell me your top 5 and stick to your argument which eliminates Shakur and Bam.

That Usyk talk is beyond silly Benavidez is small at 175. He just a skinny fat 175 guy. He can make 175 more easy than the majority of fighters there and thats where he belongs. Plenty of fights for him there as well. Beat Bivol then Beterbiev and for the next 2-3 years put the division in a chokehold before going to Cruiser for good.

I always favored him over Bivol but i would pick a prime Beterbiev to beat Benavidez but all of the fights are pretty much 50/50.

It paid off because he stopped Zurdo half way but it would have been interesting to see how his stamina held up had it gone longer.

Bivol - Benny is still the main fight for me, hopefully that comes next after the Eifert tuneup. I suspect he's still on the hook for the Beterbiev trilogy though.
Where have you been? I kinda missed your comments which i mostly disagree with

Took a break because I'd been posting too much in the lounge. Plus I have become a little jaded with boxing. I go through phases like that.

Underrated defense, underrated reflexes, underrated composure in the pocket, handspeed phenomenal and one of the most natural FIGHTERS ever to lace up gloves.
He is complete. The defense and counter punching in the pocket was art. That last sequence had it all. People focus on the flashy combinations but there is much more behind that. He can really do it all, a complete fighter. Casuals focus on his footwork but it works for his style. Nobody can mess with him. He is one of the best fighters I have ever seen.

I agree with most of what you said but Bivol has a tenency to rest on the ropes with his high guard on no matter who is the opponent he even did it against Canelo who s*cks and cutting of the ring and has the slowest feets and Bivol did not do it because he was cornered he just did it because it is (bad) habit of him.

I expected something like that. But the site needs someone to keep the negative and hateful comments of the people (sometimes it maybe includes mine) in check.

"Anyone who disagrees with me is a casual. David - and by extension my opinion - is perfect. Therefore, no more argument needed, just pure worship."

This in microcosm sums up the terminally online modern male today. Finding strongmen to uncritically support on the internet.
