Pretty sure his orbital was broke and it was barely halfway through the fight. No fighter should get hate for tapping out with that sort of injury. He was down on the cards, getting beat up badly and could likely no longer see out of one eye.

Nr.1&2 should be Usyk and Inoue dont know who takes which place. Nr. 3 is Benavidez on my list followed by Shakur, Bam, Bivol and Nakatani.
Please tell me you're joking. Beating Anthony Yarde and Turdo doesn't vault Pear Man into the Top 5 P4P. Anyone who believes that is either mentally ill or on fentanyl.

I thought an Opetaia matchup would be silly but after watching that I think it’s a winnable fight. I still think he should drop back down to Light heavy. Bivol/beterbiev/whittaker/smith and even Buatsi. Lot of fun fights to make down there.
Why didn't Pear Man go straight for Opetaia? Why did he choose Turdo?

Why was a natural cruiserweight getting beaten up like that by a pudgy, blown-up light heavyweight??? Why didn't Pear Man go after Opetaia? We both know why.

I spoke to Jai’s manager at a boxing event in Aus during the week and he said Zurdo wanted 8 million to fight Jai… he didn’t like it though when I asked him when he’s getting Jai out of Dana’s shed

That's because he hasn't had the US media hype machine behind him. Did you hear the way the US commentators were screaming about how great Benavidez was for winning alphabet baubles in three weight classes (one emailed) whilst being lineal in none?

Good performance from Benavidez though and I hope to see him in with Opetaia or Bivol for true divisional supremacy before the end of the year.

Wow, just wow, to knockout a seemingly tough opponent who's never ever been ko'd before, and make him quit, a no mas basically, is incredible.

No one beats Benavidez at cruiserweight, and I don't think even Bivol or Beterbiev at light heavy could beat him in this form.

Heck, the guy is that great, maybe could take Usyk, even though that fight probably doesn't happen. Salute to the face of boxing. Pound for pound, he's up there with Shakur and Inoue, whom I'd put above Usyk. Canelo won't ever fight him, as David would be too much.

BlackRobb bro you are really spitting acid on Benny for real. Am I wrong or you stated at some comment of yours that Benavidez can't hurt Zurdo? If so seems you are little bit off, and I am saying it respectfully.
I am not into the Fat Fave hype train but we all need to give him props when he deserves it. It's funny that both of them begin their career at 168, if I am not wrong, and they have met at the 200 limit.

Benavidez's body shots would be all wrong for Bivol. I can see Benavidez slowing down Bivol and then beating him up.

Zurdo was huge, he looked like a heavyweight but still got the soul punched out of him. Benavidez's subtle defence was different class.

All Benavidez fights are brutal - the opponents faces are ALWAYS bloodied. Tell me a fight where his opponents face wasn't covered in blood?

If Benny goes for Usyk, he will bite more than he can chew. IMHO David just don't have the footwork to hang up with Olexander
