Yes and Fat Dave didn't want to wait around with all of their injuries and negotiations for the trilogy then wait for one of them to be ready who knows end of 2027.

He is taking control of his career moving up again just like he did when Saul ducked him at 168.

Yeah no, I was more referring to him at CW. I can't see him in anyway hanging with the heavies.

We probably won’t ever get Buff Guy Artur v Fat Dave

Bivol team was unprofessional about communications regarding his surgery

Buff Guy Artur v Fat Davey could have fought it out for top contender spot in 2025

Buff Guy would have gotten a shot to take his wbc belt back

Since 2027 is now the earliest Buff Guy Artur Fat Davey could happen I’d pick Fat Dave to beat Buff Guy

He sure is right. Just like Terrence Crawford, and many other modern day fighters? David Benavidez has been weight draining himself extensively in order to be the big man on fight night, and avoiding fighting at his more natural fighting weight'.

Note: Terrence Crawford pretty much took all of his career, to eventually decided to fight at his more natural fighting weights of 168 pounds 'as in my opinion, Crawford unlike Floyd Mayweather Junior was always a Middle to Super Middle Weight fighter posing as a welterweight'.

And he was only able to do this, predominantly, due to being a modern day fighter 'competing in an era of boxing, which is using the day before weight in rule. Which aids in giving the backwards opportunity for fighters, to weight drain themselves and avoiding competing at their more natural fighting weights'.

To conclude: So yes, David Benavidez just like I said many years ago 'is a cruiserweight fighter. It is a wise decision of him at this stage of his career, to move up into the divisions. Benavidez may potentially lose fights in the future, but? If he does, at least he will have the knowledge that he has not lost the fight due to being weight drained and sub-optimally prepared'.

Too many modern day fighters, are losing fights or underperforming due to being weight drained 'it is ruining careers, and completely derailing a fighters momentum. Most recently a British fighter called Chris Eubank Junior, has potentially just affectively accelerated the demise in his own career'.

By avoiding fighting at his more natural fighting weight, and agreeing to the fight mandates such as catch weights and rehydration clauses. There may be certain folk in the boxing community who state? That he made a good business move'.

But the material gains are going to run out 'they are getting less and less every single day. That loss to a fighter, he should have never of been beaten by is going to stay on his resume forever' etc.

None of them might happen now since Fat Dave is going to Cruiser and if he wins its a bad bad idea to try and cut back down to 175 but taking control not depending on the situations of other fighter is the best thing he could do.

He tried to get the fight with Canelo but wouldn't kiss his pasty probably freckled ass that burns red if the sun touched it while every other 168lber puckered up for a few years acting like subordinates of Saul Santos in the early 2020s.

Top Soviet Bivol can MOP Fat Davey at cruiser

Fat Dave is more likely to outright stay at 200

If Fat Dave beats Fat Gilbert, Fat Dave would still need to wait for Russian trilogy to finish

In 2H 2026 go back down to whoop Callum the super jeet? Buff Guy Jai at 200 would be the much better fight

If Fat Gilbert beats Fat Dave, I see an immediate rematch happening

Fat Dave's dad already with the excuses in advance to duck Buff Guy Jai

Buff Guy Jai would be to Fat Dave what Top Soviet Bivol was to Saul Santos

Because of his footwork only Top Soviet Bivol can take Buff Guy Jai at 200 via outboxing him

all the confidence comes from sparring zurdo,, where he can just walk forward sqaure up and chin out.., no judges or answer for, but now when its real, he find out quickly he has to fight different and has no plan , just face first

I was a very young man once. Once. Age catches us all.
Zurdo and Pear-Shaped David would both avoid Opetaia. That's obvious. And I doubt Mr. Pear Shape ever sees 175 again.
