hes young hes doing well but that is no guarantee on step up he does the job in fact even if he doesnt get usyk and then one day itauma has a bad day and loses everyone will just say he had no chance v usyk anyway, itauma has to develop into a dominate unbeaten force to reach that level

      - - Boys and any of UGrrls and Chattybots, Usyk is 39yrs old vs a 37 yr old martial arts guy much bigger than him, but not a boxer.

I'd say given his overall IQ and being Ukrainian, that is likely to be his last fight as he planned it with a guaranteed entry into Valhalla. Turki talks HUGE $$$$$$$$$$$$ though that would keep him in.

Usyk's time to grow old overnight is literally any fight now. He's at the age where he just might take an L by facing a younger opponent who isn't necessarily better than Usyk, but has just enough in the tank to push through and outwork Usyk.

Though you can't blame him. He's done enough. Came up from dominating Cruiserweight to dominate Heavyweight clearly as an undersized heavyweight. That shows that his skills got him by where he was handicapped in size.

Very similar to Pacquiao's WW run if you ask me. He faced a lot of larger opponents and wasn't KOing them anymore, but getting the W based on skills alone. Though if a big part of your skills rely on youth, when you're no longer young, with skills diminished and at a size disadvantage, now you're truly fighting an uphill battle even against guys that normally shouldn't be in your class.

He is the most well preserved and fresh 39 year old iI have ever seen. If i didn’t know his age and had to guess I would say he is 35!

Rico is better conditioned strength-endurance wise than most of the top 10 certainly more than either Kabayel and Itauma and Wardley, would pick Rico to defeat the bunch of them given how much damage Kabayel took in his last fight against a no name and how unproven and unexperienced they all are under live fire. Is a switch hitter aswell altough not as proficient as a southpaw and is 20kg heavier and has calves twice as big as Usyk. Can make a very good account of himself if he applies smart pressure and turns it into a street fight by not chasing but punching along side Usyk at critical moments. It is going to be interesting to see how Usyk is going to deal with this and how he is going to trick Rico in walking into that left hand, my bet is it won't be as easy like Dubois who just voluntarily walked into it right from the start.

Rico is another animal athletically than all those guys would crush them all in a street fight/ stand up fight. That is why he got speed run to the title.

They don't really grow old overnight, they just look like it when they face a younger man.

Usyk has earned his position. He can fight the current crop and will continue to look great. But I suspect if he fought Itauma even now then you'd see just how much he's slowed down. I'm not saying he'd lose, and I don't think he would right now, but you'd see a difference in speed.

Speed is always relative to your opponent. I remember people claiming Joyce, Zhang and Hrgovic were pretty fast. No they just looked fast enough against each other.

The man is a boxing newbie. He is up against a boxing master. Outside of the proverbial pucher chance ( Usyk has a very good chin by the way, mitigating it ) he has next to none.

Having beaten the three highest ranked contenders in Fury, Joshua, and Dubois, all that left was Kabel or maybe an easy fight vs the hyped and exposed Wilder.

Perhaps Hrgovic though I doubt he will go there.
