Against guys who stood back and allowed him to load up and swing for the fences he had power.

When fighters came forward against him it was completely negated.

There's a reason that most fighters don't do what Deontay did. But the level of opposition he faced meant he got away with it.

He was pretty good at it for someone with limited boxing ability.

His power was never anything special. Stieverne ate everything Wilder had in the first fight. Duhaupas ate everyhing, the fight was stopped because of a cut. Fury was dropped many times by Wilder, but Fury was dropped many times by other guys also. Parker was never hurt. Zhang was never hurt by Wilder`s punch.

I think Itauma and Wardley hit harder and with more devastating damage Wilder ever did.
I agree with you 100% and have always said the same thing.

Put Joshua in with everyone Wilder fought and he would possibly be undefeated if he could have beat Fury he kos the rest like wilder did

Its such a terrible resume and the media built him up as something hes not

He ironed out dinner jacket frogs and an old cuban who was already in the process of rigor mortis

Oh and he went life and death with a guy with rhabdomyolysis

I believe Wilder did have power in that right hand, but he was otherwise very limited. This is highly likely due to the fact that he didn't start boxing until he was 20. His youth and athleticism allowed him to time his opponents and land his signature shot, but both of those factors are diminished now. I think it's safe to say that he has gone about as far as he ever will in the sport.
