Here we go with the low hanging fruit. Boots is the favorite here for all the same reasons. Eddy meddling. Zayas is underdeveloped and lacks power, easy fight to make. Eddy cant get Virgil in forever, but Zayas in a week? Bait and switch, Boots by the lions share.

This is probably the best time for Zayas to fight Boots. When he's young, undefeated, dripping in confidence. If he fought him later on then he might have a L which would have caused self doubt, taken some punches which gives him PTSD that makes him gun shy, and his profile would have dropped. 2 undefeated Champions is when the fights need to be made. Like everyone else is saying, you have to give Zayas credit, because he could have avoided this fight. I'm still fairly confident Boots will win but you can't win if you don't get in the ring.

Oregonian are you kidding me? This just another DUCK. No fundora? No Ortiz? I like Zayas but he’s 23 years old and best win is a split decision against an African-German bumjob. You make no sense. This is a hugely one sided fight on paper, how are you as a Bootsy fan and believer accepting this? Has Bootsy ever been in a fight where he wasn’t a HUGE betting favorite? There’s people in the division he can fight that would be more competitive, this is a weird decision but I guess money wise for Eddie it makes sense. As a fan though I’m just like wtf I’d like to see Bootsy fight a guy he’s not a huge favorite against but hey enjoy ur mismatch lol
