An American fighter that made tons of money in boxing and used a lot of talking and picking the proper dance partners to make his biggest paychecks. Mayweather said it himself that he wouldn't get into something he would lose (hence my signature quote). This has parallels to JP also picking on fights he more than likely would never lose. The only time he faced legit boxers, he lost.
With the little details whether they're perfectly comparable or not, who cares? He made crazy money like Mayweather and didn't have to become a multiple world champion in the sport or even really get that good.
