I'm really not sure "top flight" are the right words.
Micheal Conlan had so much hype behind him when he turned pro after the double bird stuff, and boy he really didn't live up to it at all.

Conlan just never translated very well to the pro game. Technically a good fighter but just didn’t have the power or the physical strength in there to make opponents respect him at the higher level. Was unlucky against Leigh wood in that fight but again woods power and physical strength just got to conlan in the end. And now he’s older and he’s suffered some heavy losses it’s not surprising he’s just gone more down hill.
