now it's time for mayweather to step up if he really thinks he's the best. at least nobody will criticize him for fighting smaller guys and making easy money ...

Paul Williams should call out Floyd relentlessly now. But we know that one douche bag who supposedly posts on here wouldn't ever put that cash cow in with Williams.

        Pavlik is finished

Staph or no staph, Pavliks career is probably over. Its a real shame to waste what seemed like such a promising career.

This is a whole bunch of bullshht. I was going for Pavlik, but all this shht made me go the other way. Pavliks camp is not confident enough of the fight, thats why they are pulling off. Stop being punks and go fight. I am going for Williams now, much props for Williams sticking in it at all times.

Str8 bull**** , it would be icing on the cake, Florida vs Alabama on the sec championship game, then Indio vs egg head, then lastly p-dub vs the ghost, .. Would have been great nite. That would be great if they dont go along with quintana and egg head , that egg head fights p-will.he shouldn't fight STAPHlik until Williams' own personal doctor can check him aNd clear him.

I agree on this, IF there was a posibility of Mayweather fighting a NOBODY (in the states) in Mexico, then he should take on Williams if he really thinks he is the best. Tell Williams to call him out more than what he called out Shane, be on Mayweather's ass until he gets cornered, He has no Excuses with Williams, Williams or Mayweather have no fight as of now and Williams is one of the best. Im sure they can bring up the money IF they did it for Marquez. Lets go Will, bring it to May.

LMAO at this Williams nuthugger comparing that big goof to Thomas Hearns.Hearns knew how to actually use a jab,Hearns actually knew how use his size and reach to his advantage.Williams is 6ft2 and fights at 5ft7.

Williams has workrate and that's it,he doesn't make great use of angles and is there to be hit.Carlos Quintana exposed Williams badly.

I kinda had the feeling that Pavlik was going to pull out of this one too. I like Pavlik, but I just had a feeling that this wasn't a good fight for him. He would lose for sure. I think he may have realized this.

On a side note, I still pick Mayweather to beat anyone out there, but Paul Williams has the BEST shot at beating him. Better than anyone else out there. I would like to see Paul Williams do his thing and really go from 147, to 154, and to 160 and defend titles in all three weight classes at the same time. That would be something incredible and I think the divisions are open enough for him to make this a reality as long as he can really gain and lose weight as well as he claims.

I have very high hopes for Paul Williams in his career and I think he will be able to pull off what no one has done in YEARS. He should be very high on the P4P rankings just for his last 4 fights alone in which 3 of them ended in KO's in 3 different weight classes with a highly regarded win over Winky Wright as well.

GIVE PAUL HIS PROPS! HE IS THE TRUTH!

Highly regarded win over Winky Wright? Winky had been out of the ring for almost two years and is getting on in age.How much credit can you give to Williams for christ sake.

                      YOU...DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT BOXIN' - ROGER

Williams just had a bad night, and he proved that in the 1st round KO 6 months later. I wouldn't say Williams is Hearns, but he throws volume punches and they still have a lot of POP on them even in the later rounds. In his last fight against Winky, his first round punches looked exactly like his 12 round punches. It's not about Nuthuggin...its about respect for a very good fighter.
