pavlik had too much to lose this time and he would have lost too. but paul williams should fight mayweather next. floyd needs a opponent too. this will be for pound for pound the winner can fight cotto or pacman at a catch weight. if pwill was sign to top rank or golden boy he would be the best in the world yadda yadda its all politics. but him and floyd should fight next not saying floyd cant win leonard beat hearns but lets see him do it. dont give me that size **** there the same size same weight divisions if marquez did it he can too. they need to call out out floyd now.

"If he had the staph infection for this long, he would have been poisoned to death. It's not the hand that needs to be corrected. They need to treat his heart. His heart is what needs to be corrected. They keep treating the wrong thing. We are not waiting on this guy any more," Peterson said.

      LMAO!!!

It's easy to see why Williams' camp may feel like Pavlik is dodging him but I don't think that's the case. The hand was never "fine" as Pavlik tried intimating during the opening presser. They were going to monitor it leading right up to fight night. Pavlik's career may be in jeopardy - and if it isn't, he better stay from Williams when he comes back. I bet PW would love nothing more than to crack Pavlik's jaw if ever gets a chance.

I think Dzindziruk would probably beat Martinez, and Williams owes him a fight after the way he strung him along before.
              and paul ducked clottey too.

That would create a new lineal and Ring champion, which would be good for boxing. Entertainment value isn't the only criteria, boxing is a sport, not just entertainment.

He did. Williams' team confirmed this publically during negotiations. I have no qualms with them snubbing Dzinziruk for a more lucrative, higher profile and more challenging option in Pavlik. But now that the "Ghost" has disappeared it's certainly a viable option and one I hope they take a long look at.

Martinez would get dominated by Paul Williams. Sure, he KOd Cintron and got robbed. But he was ****** for letting it go the distance in the first place. What I mean is compare the way Margarito handled Cintron twice and how Martinez ***** footed around and let the fight be a cat and mouse game and you do the math. Martinez is not all that good. And his loss to Margarito happened a long time ago. But it's still a loss regardless. Paul would handle him.
