"A great right hand can take you around the block, but a great jab will take you around the world". George Benton Also, can't remember who said it first, but i remember George Foreman mentioning "boxing is an easy sport if you have a jab".

My trainer back in the days told me "Jab is the first punch you learn to throw and the last to master"

Landing your jab consistently prevents your opponent from thinking too fast and creatively. Jab keep blinded opponent allows you to set up your other punches and maintain the rhythm amd momentum of a fight

Miguel Cotto's jab was magnificent. He caused so many knockdowns in his career with that shot, truly unbelievable!

I'd say are you even boxing unless the jab is landing regularly

The stab jab almost never missed its target. A thing of beauty.

my favorite use of Floyd’s stab jab

When he stabbed countered Marcos jab

Floyd had the best timing ever

everyone knew the stab jab was coming but no one could counter it

As for Oscar who had a great jab himself

Oscar jabbed less in the second half because by then Floyd was outjabbing him

Floyd’s variety of jabs was too much for Oscar’s jab

Golovkin almost won the Canelo rematch with his jab alone. It is not an exciting punch. But anyone who is a boxing fan will sit and watch a fighter landing jabs realizing that fighter is winning.

Lennox Lewis always had feet balanced, elbows in, hand up, four knuckles coming straight at you, and BOOM.
