And that COULD happen. But when Bootsy was offered a fight vs Ortiz, who backed out and fought the almighty Karen A SECOND TIME?

Kelly used his legs in a large ring, nothing wrong there. Murtazaliev couldn't cut off the exits, plodder, but there was something else going on. Kelly was doing some off brand stuff to keep Murtz at bay. Kelly was using style, a style. You can say what you want, but he came to success with it.

Boots is in with bad company. Eddy is not interested in making Boots his flagship star. If he was he would put Boot in deep and cheap without hesitation. Like Smith going to Puerto Rico and now basking in glory. Boots is unglorified for meddling, many odds on his side, experience, weight, all to guarantee his zero. What super fight? Keep him on the treadmill.

I love that fight, I feel like Madrimov is a more elite version of Kelly and way underrated because of his losses to Ortiz and Crawford (whilst he struggled he didn't look terribly outclassed in either). Kelly is good but can't imagine he would last twelve against either of those.

There's always some lame reason why the most obvious matchups can't just happen next.

If I was Boots and the Ortiz fight doesn't come off, I'd be imploring Hearn to make the Kelly fight next even if it means waiting a bit and fighting a few months later than intended. That's an easy stoppage win for Boots if ever I've seen one.

Yeah Madrimov is still a top level fighter and even in his losses to Ortiz and Crawford he only lost by a 2-3 rounds imo in both fights but he wasn’t outclassed at any point in them fights he was competitive in both especially going into the Ortiz fight with the Flu aswell apparently. He could defiantly reclaim a belt at 154lbs and I think the Kelly fight is a good option for him specially with them both under the matchroom banner. Kelly wants to defend his title at the football stadium in his home city and obviously boots would be great for a event like that but I think they could still do it with somebody like Madrimov who’s still a real threat. Tbh I just wanna see Boots fight Vergil that’s just a great fight for boxing and it’s a shame that’s it’s being stalled because it shouldn’t have to be
