Think it's the opposite.

Ortiz is a technician who thrives boxing at midrange (backfoot) and throws blistering combinations. But Keyshawn neutralizes Jamaine's punches (or counters him) and Davis doesn't press, and if he does, it is tactfully which gives Ortiz opportunities that are risky due to his opponent's timing and punch selection. He doesn't have to be Madueno, but it is a bad tactic to try outbox his opponent.
