The geezer diet isn't getting Walsh worked up enough, he needs to get in there with somebody to bring out the fire. Ocampo has a bag of tricks and dirty habits. Not dirty in the damage sense, dirty in the waste your time sense. Old man games.
KING Walsh failed to wow. He got a second bite of the apple and failed to anything better than his last few outings. Changing his corner didn’t help at all. He is far from championship level. Over hyped to the gills. There’s no way Unc Dana is happy with his “star” after last night. Turki won’t be happy that’s for sure. Walsh is best suited for MVP or MMA. Zuffa played all their chips last night and it was a flopped. All that Saudi cash and the best they could scratch up was a sound stage with no real fans. It was giving “covid” era production quality. I don't think ODLH Matchroom and the man on the moon has anything to worry about. Zuffa was a bluffa!
Dana White should let his boxing stars develop and emerge naturally. Don’t try to artificially force feed us that Callum Walsh is a star, he’s not ready yet and might never be.
Walsh is a KO waiting to happen. Ocampo was never likely to do it but someone better surely will. The scored knockdown for Ocampo was bogus. Other than that, I gave him barely a round. Boring fight. Neither guy had a game plan; wild shots through ten rounds and Walsh was just a little quicker.
‘Ocampo’s added weight allowed him to absorb the shots’. That makes no sense unless Ocampo was crucifying himself to make 154, and there is no evidence of that. If Walsh, at 160, can’t move a guy who was sparked quickly at 154, admittedly by world class men, then it suggests his glossy KO record reflects low opposition rather than scary power.
