That Bivol loss made him lose a lot of confidence and he was like, "Alright. Size does matter in boxing."

Benavidez isn't a small man either, he is a tall, rangy, big unit who throws a lot of volumes.

Now whenever I rewatch Saul Santos v Top Soviet Bivol

Santos looks undersized by one division

it was like Floyd fighting at 154

they pulled it off due to skill not physicality

It didn't make sense to the world but it made sense to Canelo - he knew he couldn't handle the hand speed, high volume and unorthodox shot selection of Benavidez. He also knew full well it wouldn't be the type of fight that he'd lose on points.

Because Saul Santos ducked Fat Dave went from a good contender to a monster

No Saul Santos fight was the best thing that happened for Fat Dave’s aura

To be fair Benavidez has a fan friendly style where his MO is usually seek and destroy. Around the time Canelo was ducking Benny, Mike Tyson called Benny "The Mexican Monster" on his podcast and after it seemed to stick.

Time will tell if he really is a monster, he's looked impressive so far but fights against Bivol and Beterbiev will show what he's really about. Beating Zurdo would be a good win for his resume but he's not on that elite level

He knew it was the type of fight he would get stopped and quit on his stool.

imo Fat Dave has looked so and so

Saul Santos outperformed Fat Dave when each fought Caleb

Buff Guy Artur outperformed Fat Dave when each fought Gvozdyk

Fat Dave outperformed Buff Guy Artur when each fought Buff Guy Yarde

in May vs Fat Gilbert we'll find out if Fat Dave can outdo Top Soviet Bivol 9-3 Fat Gilbert

as it stands the greats have outdone Fat Dave when it came to shared opps

Doing a cleaner job on Fat Gilbert than Top Soviet Bivol would bring Fat Dave up to even at 2-2

And yet, you can't mention one win, while telling the world how great his $h1tty resume is. Just one, no controversy over a good to elite fighter. Been waiting for 10 years one of you guys say a name.

Boxing has never had a face of boxing who had a "shltty" resume.
Benny's best win is still a Nelo victim and Nelo did it better.

No matter how huch you hate Nelo, Benny will never be a HOFer or Face Of Boxing.

I'm not even sure he has actual fans.
Are his fights even PPV ???
