Boots is in a position where he needs to bet on himself and take less money now in order to be able to demand more later once he wins. Like Devin Haney against Kambosos. He should jump on those terms and agree to them and call Oscar’s bluff.

Eddie Hearn should have no problem with this as he did it to Haney.

We’re assuming that 5% comes from Vergils purse is Bootsy wins and boostys purse if Vergil wins. Essentially they would both be betting 5% of their own purses against each other in themselves. PPV percentages turn into real money and lots of it , forget the house , PPV is where the long green is.

I know that - but this fight isn't doing huge ppv. Hearn is smart enough to calculate what it can do on ppv numbers and translate that to dollars and proceed from there. Ask for a higher $figure and let it go from there. This % stuff is all about trying to project that your fighter has more value - in other words if the promoter or fighter say it then it must be true - its tedious.
