I am sorry De La Hoya. I don’t know if this is true or not but according to the rumor mill; The PBC could very well be on its way out of business.

They could use a new platform and some sponsors. I’ve heard their Prime distribution deal is about to expire by the end of the year.

Ryan does not deserve a title shot and i'm totally against it. However Gary Anutanne Russell-Andy Hiraoka must happen it is about time to make that fight happen and to introduce Hiraoka to the casual fans. He is the dark horse in a packed division and in a division packed with a lot of great pure boxers and 2 more or less aggressive power punchers in Matias and Russel, i expect Hiraoka to give all guys the biggest problem and wouldn't be suprised if he will become the top dog of the division.

Top Rank failed him he is inactive for 2 years while being in his prime and coming off a picture perfect performance.

Regarding the link up between PBC and Golden Boy. In my opinion Golden Boy PBC and Top Rank should team up maybe even merge into one. Have De la hoya as the face that talks his ish and cuts promos while Al Haymon is the brain that pulls the strings in the shadow with Arum as gudaince (as long as he is still around).

Top Rank will fail if Bob is done it already shows, besides Bob the Top Rank guys are useless casuals. He should fire all of them and just take his company and match makers to join forces with Golden boy and PBC.

They should adopt the prefight fight coverage like Showtime and Amazon is doing it, also a bit of what Top Rank did with ESPN. And they should bring back a strong Broadcasting Team and try to bring back the HBO vibes.

If these 3 can find one Platform and here and there make some fights with Matchroom or Queensberry if needed, boxing will be in best hands. Just make sure to let Oscar be the face but not the mind because he is clearly out of his mind.

Mario Barrios has yet to win a legit title fight at 140 or 147. Ryan got washed by Rolly in his last fight and hasn't won a fight in over 2 years. This lets you know how morbidly corrupt the green belt folks are.
