Usyk is 39, and I see him wanting to fight people in his age bracket (or at least 30+). I don't think he would want to go against a young and dangerous Itauma at this stage of his career. Fabio or Kabayel, maybe, if the pay is right. For his last 2-3 fights, it might just be about big money. Don't be surprised if he fights Wilder, rematches one of Fury or AJ for a 3rd time, and finishes off with Jake Paul. At least Jake will bring more money than Itauma, Kabayel, and Sanchez combined.

Right so drop the belts then?

He's not a real champion if he's only going to be fighting guys over 30 instead of, you know, the best contenders

It's unbelievable to me that Usyk is allowed to hold belts hostage and hold up the division because "we like him"

The double standards of boxing fans is incredible

He's not holding it hostage. Promoters of contenders need to make him an offer he can't refuse.

It's not like he's tying up the belts and aging out contenders with once a year rematch clauses and exhibition sabbaticals vs MMA guys.

Just wait til the camel racer, fisheyes and fast eddie get their guys a strap again and then it'll be hostage time!

If Usyk wants a tune-up he should fight Ajagba or Gassiev again ( this time at hw) or Torrez jr.

Fighting Wilder is unacceptable at this point.

If Usyk even proven n.1? He only beat 3 guys to be honest.

The definition of P4P #1 is not fighting once a year vs a guy like Deontay.

                      Time to wake up.
