Soviets are not the only commies. Boxing as a global sport doesn't actually happen until the late 90s. Who was the Chinese top HW? How about Uzbek? Get me? Ali was fantastic but only over America, UK, Canada, Mexico, etc. Plenty to respect but in my opinion it's like apples and oranges comparing the world title picture. There was no top Chinese like Zhang because of racism and politics. China has proven that now. Same for much of Africa, west asia, and south east asia.
