It's funny because it's a catch 22 with them drugs. Some folks think they need them to win to build legacy, but then you're caught and legacy is pretty much ruined forever. On the other hand, if fighters only care about the money, I guess being caught isn't the end of the world. You still got paid for the fights where you weren't caught and if legacy really doesn't matter, I guess you have nothing else to do but maybe future big fights.

Though as we've seen in this boxing world. Once you're the face or making big bucks which is also making those around boxing rich, they'll usually defend your position because they do not want to lose those massive paydays. When a fighter is at the top and has eyes and people pouring money into them, boxing is thriving as a whole.

If fighters would live the right way in between fights I expect they could get similar results for their body that PEDs would give without the use of PEDs. I know it's a lot to ask of young people to be disciplined year round, but a boxing career is short even if you're at the highest level. And living an honorable life needs to be something our society puts high value on.

        Zero chance of that.

So, no matter how clean a person lives - eating right, training right, supplementing right - you don't think it they could get most of the benefits a doping athlete would get?

I suppose I think a lot of the PED use is for helping to lose weight and gain stamina and gain strength, things that you wouldn't need to do if you lived and trained properly. Short-cuts, I guess is what I'm getting at. Although, I suppose someone who trained well and stayed in shape throughout the year could then use doping to further enhance that.

                    I don't think, I know. It's a fact.

The benefits an athlete (or anybody) gets from being assisted by PEDs would not only outweigh a perfect clean living lifestyle but it would outweigh it gigantically.

I understand the point you're trying to make but it's just not the case.

If someone were to just take a TRT dose of Testosterone the effect that has on your body would massively override a clean living lifestyle, let alone a high dose of Test, LET ALONE if harsh compounds are added.

Yeah, I suppose I don't really know a lot about PEDs. People are certainly willing to cheat for the advantages they give. Though the cost of getting caught - especially if you have the right people behind you - is pretty low. And the probability of being caught far lower. But still. What is the price of integrity?
