Carl Froch: "Andre Dirrell Tried To Steal a Decision"

I can't stand Carl Froch. There is absolutely nothing special about this guy. His arrogance is unbelievable. I hate to break it to you Carl, but the point of boxing is to hit and not get hit. That's exactly what Dirrell did. Can it stink a place out sometimes? Yes. Did it against your sorry ass? Not at all. Froch should have been penalized at least twice during that fight but the ref did nothing. Should Dirrell have been penalized for holding so much? Perhaps, but let's even it out, what with all the rabbit punches Froch was throwing I am suprised he didn't get DQ'd. Just because Froch can't box doesn't mean Dirrell ran. Andre was slick and did everything anyone who has seen him fight before knew he was going to do, which was outsmart Froch by making him miss and counterpunching him. I appreciate that kind of skill because it's not easy to do in the ring. I hope Kessler knocks Froch out and hard.

I think he would of been given more credit and more rounds if he did something else than Clinch, I think that was the killer and not so much the running because you can't really argue about that, it's just creating space ect...

But of course if you follow that logic, he would of been hit square by Froch when he had no where to run, and it only takes a couple of shots cleanly from Froch before you get dazed.

I gotta say I was impressed by Froch ...

I thought he was somewhat an overrated bum but I am proud he was able to stand in there against someone as good as Andre and it was his inabilty to adapt that made him look foolish at times.

Hopefully he works on this in case this happens again in the future.

Froch was the one that actually got hurt,I knew the two euro judges would give it to Froch. He will get KTFO by his fellow European pin pals for sure.

Froch is right, Dirrell didn't come to fight he went in thinking that by potshotting and holding he was going to steal a decision. The man never engaged when it was clear he could hit Froch. He would counter Froch with one or two punches then he would hold or run when it was clear he could have hit him with more punches. The simple reason why, he was afraid to get hit.

While I think Froch was unimpressive, crude and lacks skill, he deserved to win the fight. Froch was there willing to give his all to win the fight, while Dirrell was clearly doing as least as possible to win.

Anyone who thinks Dirrell got robbed is not looking at the big picture. Froch was the champion and they where fighting in super six tournament which is a showcase to show how boxing works when the best face the best. Dirrell didn't get the message, his cowardly approach to this fight cost what could have been a great win and a world championship.

there was more running in the fight then actual punching. I think dirrel thought he was playing "tag", he's very good at playing tag.
