Which version of Tyson Fury was the best?

    1. Tyson "2 Fast" Fury - He went by this in his early fights - Apparently, including Chisora 2, which I'm classing as his last fight as 2 Fast.

    2. The Gypsy King - The one who beat Wlad, Hammer, Wilder 1, others, but last fight Wallin.

    3. Dosser Fury - Wilder 2 onward.

    Best performances I'd rank

    1. Wilder 2 - Dosser Fury
    2. Wlad - The Gypsy King
    3. Usyk 1 (SD loss) Dosser Fury
    4. Wilder 1 - The Gypsy King
    5. Wilder 3 - Dosser Fury
    6. Usyk 2 - (Close loss) Dosser Fury
    7. Chisora 2 - Tyson "2 Fast" Fury
    8. Whyte - Dosser Fury
    9. Chisora 3 - Dosser Fury
    10, Cunningham - Tyson "2 Fast" Fury

For Nash, even though Dosser Fury has done great things, I'd still tip The Gypsy King to beat The Dosser. The 1/2 here was a toss up, but as it was Wilder's first class, there it goes, but I'd have Gypsy King 1-2 Fave to beat Dosser Fury in a fight, if they ever do fight, I'd be placing my money on Gypsy King Fury to beat Dosser Fury, but both would definitely beat 2 Fast. The one that uppercut himself in the face. I don't think that Tyson Fury can be topped.

Circa Chisora 2 Christian Hammer times, he was physically at his peak with little fat and a fair amount of muscle. His movement and punch selection were on point. However it's quite possible he was on nandrolone at this time

LOL - "2 Fast" - I think someone here started calling him that early on

,I did like "2 Fast"- but it would have been better solidified had the Ustinov fight gone through. I was a fan of Fury and a lot of doubters were saying he would not take that fight, and they ended up being right.

I don't even remember if Ustinov was good or not, but simply for fighting someone who they thought he wouldn't, I;d probably go with "2 Fast." Chisora 2 is one of his best showings of any to me, definitely at the time.

So your choice is Tyson "2 Fast" Fury. A tremendous fighter. Nash out - His Majesty

That's late 2 Fast to early Gypsy King period. Good choice. Nash out - His Majesty

I had to Google it all today as Nash remembered him being called 2 Fast for a while, but not for many years now, so Nash listed the approx period. He was great vs Chisora 2. Have to remember that version of Chisora was far better than the version of Chisora that took 4 Rounds off Usyk. He did not win 1 second vs Fury. Fury when he had the agility, speed (for his size) and stamina, who boxed great off the back foot was peak Fury. Even though he's younger than Usyk, body clock due to lifestyle puts him 10-15 years older. Usyk, like Wlad, is a true athlete.

Yes, it was a shame about the Ustinov fight. A tough one at late notice for both. I watched a lot of Ustinov at the time and whilst I think he would have caused trouble in the early rounds, I believe 2 Fast would start picking him off as he tires, and also with the sharper jab, once he found range and rhythm, he'd have taken over, I believe.

The version that earned the opportunity to fight Wlad and then beat him. That version of Fury could have had a decent reign (if we ignore the fact that he was about to be banned for drug use that went back to at least before the Hammer fight). But I don't think his personality alone would have made him a big star. The boxing style was effective but boring. People forget that he was a tough watch because most only really started watching him from Wilder 1 onwards.

Personally I think everything from that date was a diminished Fury. After what he did to himself how can anyone believe he got better? Wilder 2 goes down as a great win in the context of the division, but I'm still not convinced it proves Fury regained his level. For that to be true, Wilder would have to have proven his own level.

His performance against Usyk is massively overstated. He had 2 good rounds out of 24. He'll always be big and awkward so he'll never be run straight through.

Another vote for 2 Fast. A lesser man would have been knocked out then but 2 Fast took it like the Champion he is. Nash out - His Majesty
