Greater fighter/career: Naoya Inoue or Gennady Golovkin?

Both have lots of knockouts but who’s greater between those two?

You could make a case for either. Inoue has multi division accolades and is 2 times undisputed while Golovkin had 21 title defences, is 2 times unified at his weight and was P4P #1. Personally I'd go with GGG because what he did was at a higher weight and Inoue doesn't seem to have the same aura that he possessed in the ring. Inoue has been badly hurt and knocked down twice, you get a feeling that he could get stopped as he goes up in weight.

Inoue became big enough from a financial standpoint to dictate his opposition and he has used that power to consistently line up top competition.

GGG faced about 15 ranked fighters in his day, nothing to scoff at, but Inoue has faced more in fewer fights and thus has more tangible accomplishments.

            Clearly the Monster.

            - He has most world title wins in history: 26 consecutive wins. tied with Joe Louis and Mayweather.
            - 2nd fighter in history to unify all 4 belts
            - 4 wgt class belt holder

*unfortunately was avoided like the plague at superfly.
well documented that Chocolatito turned him down, which prompted Inoue to fight in the Super Series.

Two of those fights were for the WBA fake secondary belt. Sorry, but he didn't become WBA bantamweight champion until the first Nonito Donaire fight. When there is an active Super Champion in the division the Regular belt is nothing more than an interim title.
