Strange, maybe he tried to bulk up a bit and misjudged the weight thinking it would be easier to get down than it turned out to be. He doesn't strike me as the unprofessional type so I'll be interested to find out the reason.

He gets fat between fights because he can't/wont keep his diet in check. He even told Ward that he was about nearly 160 lbs and this was weeks ago before the fight got pushed back in October. He's had time to make the weight, lose it and make it again....AND he's moving up in weight...this is unacceptable on so many levels.

Imagine being the other 2 fighters who think they fighting for the interim belt only to have that opportunity snatched away from them all because one guy was being a fatso

So... one guy misses weight for 130 so they cannot fight for that belt, but they CAN fight for the 135 belt, even though the other fighter, who did things the right way, has not trained for that division and 2 other boxers, who also have done nothing wrong, were promised to have that "title" contested at their bout? That is the scenario?

i can't wait for mauricio to die at this point (with don king, of course). boxing will never get better with these people still alive.

can this week get any worse? first canizales was stripped because of evil usa, then alimkhanuly failed a test, then fulton messed up. if this trend continues one fight would be a no contest shorter than 4 rounds or somebody will die from injuries.
