I'm sure his fight with AJ will have a script of some kind.

Talent should be the key to success, not (anti) social media notoriety

I will be back here to eat crow if there is no script and AJ is allowed to swing for the bleachers
Please tell me you’re implying with this post that you’re one of the tinfoil commenters who believe Mike Tyson essentially at age 60 was going to beat Jake Paul…he wasn’t in a position to win no matter what. If he got beaten, he lost to an old man. If he had starched him, he would’ve been labeled a bully and gotten Netflix to pull out of the sport with all the absolute bad press. You don’t need to script that, Tyson is ancient at this point and Paul is just okay enough to wash him. It means Jack…but once he got in there with him, it was either one outcome or the other. If you wanna’ say carried him, sure. But is that scripted? Wouldn’t most people say Canelo carried Munguia? Haven’t other boxers carried fighters? Maybe Jones, Jr./Trinidad?

Of course talent should be the key to success. I agree with that. But let’s be honest, nothing drives up attention/viewership on a general level than being notorious. Floyd started making life changing money when he embraced the heel role, whereas someone like Andre Ward (as talented and accomplished as he was) could never sell anywhere NEAR someone like Floyd or Pacquiao…or hell, even a distant third place like Miguel Cotto back in the day. I’m only comparing notoriety here between Paul and Floyd, not skill level. Don’t get up in arms.

That’s unfortunately the world we live in now. Not saying it’s right, it just is.

Also, as much as AJ is a colossal puncher, do people really think he’s going to come out swinging for the fences? Haven’t we seen this rhetoric before? Remember when the boards here in 2017 (and I might include myself in this, I’m not sure) when we were all saying Mayweather could wipe out McGregor in 1 or 2 rounds? We then pivoted to, “He carried him.”

The reality was probably that Floyd got a hair worse and McGregor was better than Floyd thought.

AJ should win, but you think he needs to come out swinging for the fences otherwise “the script/fix is in”?

      Umm, ok.

        Nope
Unlike you, I wasn't drawn into the hype of seeing Mlike in the ring. Especially after the garbage between him and RJJ.

Also, unlike you, I've never given JP a second of my time.
Other than to criticize it, that is.

I don't want to make assumptions but, I'm willing to bet you've paid for his scripted nonsense at least once.

If there is no script, AJ should mop up the ring with JP and end this farce.

So, your lame AF tinfoil bit failed miserably
But do continue to get caught up in the JP hoopla
Make sure YOUR tinfoil cap is at the ready

Did you see my post a couple exchanges back? I said I’ve never purchased a single PPV Jake Paul related. Not a single one.

I wasn’t interested in the Paul-Tyson match-up either. But I did tune in to see the co-main in Serrano-Taylor 2.

Am I the one with the tinfoil hat? Because I don’t believe his fights are scripted? No, I don’t. He wins because his fights are against fighters that are either not good enough, don’t have a background in boxing, or are over the hill. Not gonna’ knock him for it. Fighters coming up slowly do the same or similar maneuvers while building their record. He still ended up here, though. Can’t knock the hustle.

You’ll be watching, though. Don’t lie. You gotta’ keep tabs on Joshua and make sure he comes out swinging for the bleachers to verify if it’s scripted or not. See you in two weeks, sir.

If AJ is allowed to actually fight him and go for the KO, I will come back here for some crow pie.

I really admire your patience with this troll. He's clearly just either a drunk or just so set in his ways he can't see the forest for the trees.

Yeah, it does get a bit like a broken record. Damned if he do, damned if he don't. I'll say, this is the most interested I've been for a JP fight to see if he can pull it off as long as it's not fixed. Granted, I also don't believe he should last more than 1-2rds. Though if he shows something we've never seen before and AJ looks legit old in there, maybe he did get what he wanted out of a previously KO'd AJ. I just don't think AJ is over the hill yet.

AJ is quoted as saying he will 'seek & destroy'

if what he is saying is the truth the fight will be over in round 1 or round 2 and it wont even be a boxing fight
