This was what you all requested.

For Jake Paul to fight someone real. He now fights freakin AJ. You wanted to see Paul get KTFO, here is the scoop. What's not to like?

Stop complaining about everything the man does. Respect for taking such a challenge.

    Welcome in haters.

Don't get me wrong. I like Jake Paul as a promotor and he's done a lot for women's boxing. If he tried the more traditional and less lucrative way of fighting journeymen and climbing the ladder towards a belt then I would have more respect for him. I think Miguel Cotto said something similar to this as well. But maybe I shouldn't complain because he's bringing awareness to boxing by putting it on Netflix.

I couldn't be happier with this fight.

I have no idea why anyone would complain about it.

Excactly my thoughts. And people are now selling out AJ saying the fight will be fixed. You cant make this up. As if AJ would ever sell out like that, against Jake mother****ing Paul, they donīt know who AJ is then.

Jake Paul deserves respect for having gigantic disillusioned balls to step into the ring with AJ.

Not complaining here at all... Hopefully AJ will send him back to his YouTube venture after humbling him, if not completely humiliating him... As it should be ....

What could be better than watching an absolute scumbag get destroyed in a fight?

Jake Paul has essentially been doing a boxing fantasy camp. Fighting celebrities and Youtubers, fighting retired MMA grappling specialists, fighting inactive boxers from lower weight divisions, fighting guys out of the retirement home.

Now he's fighting an actual boxer who is bigger than he is and not washed up or coming off a 3 year layoff. The nonsense ends now, just like Joshua ended the Ngannou nonsense after Fury embarrassed the sport.

I think Jake gets a bad wrap. I really do.

Right now there are a lot of people who are both rooting for him to titanically crushed by AJ and that believe he WILL be. Chances are, he WILL. However, it’s a really crappy position to be in when you pick on a fighter like Tank (who ticks all the boxes as what most critics want Jake to fight), and then they hone in the size difference. Now that Jake has done a complete 180 and is taking on a guy he’s clearly not supposed to fight and little to no chance of winning, they’re accepting of it.

I legitimately wonder how many Jake Paul critics are genuinely objective critics and give Paul a chance to win him over and how many just move the goal post and have moved it so often that they’re essentially nomads by now.

Let me ask you all this:

When Paul started this endeavor, and to grow his profile he took on some gimmes like Robinson (just a basketball player) and Askren (zero striking capability), how many of you all thought Paul would get slept or beaten up by someone like say Tyron Woodley? You CANNOT tell me when Jake was only in his second or third year as a boxer that fighting Woodley would be Jake easily beating him.

He beats Woodley the first time, but the critics say, “Yeah, well he struggled mightily and don’t forget that right hand he got wobbled with”

He doesn’t have to rematch him, but screw it. He does. He goes out and starches him. They go and say, “”Yeah, well…Woodley doesn’t have elite striking and was always so-so overall as a fighter, that’s why Jake picked him.”

He fights Diaz and Silva, knocks them both down and beats them. “Yeah, well…but they’re not real boxers.”

He fights and beats Chavez. They say, “Inactive. Too gunshy.”

He chose to fight Tank. Before the fight even took place, the whispers were, “Too small.” and people were thinking that Paul was being the bully here as if the size was too much and that Tank wouldn’t be able to deal with that. A lot of people saw that Roach fight and put Tank in the “not that good” category, when in reality it was a close fight. Tank was young, undefeated, a big puncher, speedy, highly underrated counter puncher and body puncher, he would’ve beaten Paul, size be damned. But whatever, we’re two weeks away now from Paul-AJ or AJ-Paul so nobody gets butthurt.

I’m going to be watching that fight and be fine with whatever the result is. If Paul gets iced, the media will be talking about it and boxing order is restored (whatever that is). If AJ should happen to be on the receiving end of the “theater of the unexpected” and stopped, the entire boxing landscape will quake and these servers will crash. And guess what? If that highly either way, I’ll be entertained because of the aftermath. Paul is really not in a position to win either way, really. He gets stopped, he’ll be called a fraud (six years into boxing and taking on an Olympic gold medalist…was he supposed to win?), IF he wins, because of how large a platform Netflix is and because of the noise (ie. everybody and their momma commenting on social media), I guarantee you he wouldn’t get credit if he upset AJ.

“AJ was washed, AJ was too inactive, that Dubois loss scrambled him, he fought scared, they had a secret agreem—

Have you all been on the comments section of any Tyson-Paul vid on YouTube? Everybody saying, “The fix was in.” How anybody thought Tyson was supposed to win boggles my mind. Paul is not champion level material, but he isn’t on the low-level like say “celebrity boxing” or “Misfits”.

I can’t wait for that night. Kinda’ hoping for chaos and Paul to upset the apple cart just to see Eddie’s face and his gargantuan investment in AJ melt. And if not, I’m fine either way.

Jake making it to the fourth or fifth round alone would be a moral victory.
