These are the words of a man who has fought 1 person inside of the Top 100 and he's 1-0-1 with that person.

Big Ben vs Yarde would be a good fight. Oleksandr Uysk is currently Britain's best fighter. Nash out - His Majesty

He should be looking to fight a Morrell before even thinking of exploring a fight with Benavidez.

Morrell now? Makes no sense he needs to step up the competition not jump up like Yarde did it in his career.

Ben has amateur experience but amateurs does not mean a lot especially if your naturally fighting style is not suited for the pro game like it is the case for Ben.

Benavidez only had like 15 amateur fights but his style is perfect for pro boxing and was crafted to near perfection in the gym by doing hard sparring. Hard sparring is the most important thing for pro boxers and it was the 1 single thing that Emanuel Steward mentioned to be the most important thing.
He said working on fundamentals and hard sparring even when being exhausted are his keys to success in boxing.

Benavidez also talked about focusing on the fundamentals a lot which shows he has underated defense and also a real effective jab if he uses it.

Ben on the other hand lacks fundamentals but likes to do the goofy stuff which will not work at the top level and if Andy Lee is not fixing that and putting that boy into some torture like sparring sessions he will just step up to top 15 level and receive a beatdown.
