Not as bad when Josh Taylor became undisputed at 140lb. Looking back. Those fighters were sub par.

More credit then Josh Taylor but less than Crawford.

Haney can walk right in to the hall of fame right now!

So 1 or maybe 2 points should have been deducted from Haney for excessive holding. However, on my score card, he still would have won if that was the case. It did ruin the fight and made it nearly impossible for Norman to land a clean body shot inside. Eddie Hearn was right talking about how the fans don't want to see this type of fighter who does all of the weasily tricks to win a fight. A lot of running, holding, and avoiding engagement. Is he a cheater? Yes. Is he a World Champion? Yes. But he's still a cheater.

You can prepare for it, see Usyk vs Fury, Usyk wasn't running away from the clinch but he learned how to deal with it, roll fury off and punish him for trying to initiate it.

No boxer should HAVE to do that btw, but if there's a notorious clincher at the top of your weight class, then doing a wrestling session now and then isn't a bad idea.

Drove me nuts how for 10 years Wlad was heavyweight champion not one of his opponents did anything to prepare for his clinching. Like if you are a contender you know you will probably fight the guy at some point, maybe put in some work to take his infamous tactic away.

Devin would be heavily favored in all of these fights, any of these guys beating him would be a massive upset and for that reason it wouldn't mean as much. 147 is in a pretty woeful state now.
