It would be a miracle if Canelo didn't get knocked in this fight. Remember, Canelo was showing distress signs against Crawford - imagine how Benavidez would turn up the heat on him if it ever got like that!

Why didn't Arthur face him this weekend? They were both available. Actually they were both going to be in the same card. Let me hear the excuse.

Believe it or not but Benavidez is not a big guy for 175 all this he is so big talk was getting hyped up when Canelo used it as an excuse to avoid him.

Benavidez is skinny fat on fight night and just straight out fat out of camp all 3 of his 175 opponents looked clearly bigger especially Morrell and Gvodzyk. Gvodzyk was taller than him with way more muscle and even a wider frame.

This misconception of David is so big comes from him being super fat when being outside of camp but this is pure fat, if he would live a clean life he could still make 168, he is no Zurdo Ramirez 6'4 and big as hell, he has a photo next to Callum Simpson and he is considerable smaller than him.
I wish Benavidez would stay at 175 too.

That Bivol vs Beterbiev trilogy is taking forever to make, and I understand not wanting to wait around. But fight just one more top 10 guy and by then a unification fight for all the light heavyweight belts should be available.

              that's his plan

              in post fight presser

he stated a willingness to go back to 175 after facing Fat Gilbert

175 is where all the money is with Top Soviet Bivol and maybe a Saul fight

That was (in a good way) a disgusting beatdown. Really fucking savage. Haven't felt so disturbed watching a fight nearing its end since Joyce pummelled Parker. Hope Yarde doesn't have lasting damage.
