Great win for Benavidez. If he does move up, hope he gives himself some time to grow into the weight.

He's one of the best pound for pound, no doubt. Canelo, probably wouldn't beat David now.

Canelo was NEVER going to beat David two years ago or three years ago. If he could, he would have fought him as his mandatory for three years.

Benavidez v Zurdo is a good fight. And if it leads to the winner vs J.O, it’s a great fight.

Canelo would get stopped, his corner would have to safe him. His output is like 10 punches per round and he did not stop a fighter since forever even though he is fighting C level guys like Ryder and Berlanga.

Benavidez style was always wrong for Canelo and even a young Benaviez would have beaten prime Canelo in dominating fashion.

I disagree i think it is a pointless fight. David should concentrate on 175, take out another top 10 guy at 175 while waiting for Bivol vs Beterbiev winner.

If he loses against Zurdo it destroys his well deserved momentum if he wins it is pointless since he will and should not fights Opetaia. Zurdo should stop ducking at fight Opetaia.

Believe it or not but Benavidez is not a big guy for 175 all this he is so big talk was getting hyped up when Canelo used it as an excuse to avoid him.

Benavidez is skinny fat on fight night and just straight out fat out of camp all 3 of his 175 opponents looked clearly bigger especially Morrell and Gvodzyk. Gvodzyk was taller than him with way more muscle and even a wider frame.

This misconception of David is so big comes from him being super fat when being outside of camp but this is pure fat, if he would live a clean life he could still make 168, he is no Zurdo Ramirez 6'4 and big as hell, he has a photo next to Callum Simpson and he is considerable smaller than him.

And can someone please share a clip that shows Yarde's knee touching the ground when he was punched and the ref took 2 points of Benavidez?

I saw 4 different angles and it always looks like Yarde was not down his knees didnt touch the ground. Wouldn't suprise me when Afu got this one wrong since he is a terrible ref
