To mix my sports metaphors, this thing is over at the coin flip. Even if the "Mike Tyson fight was fixed" crowd is right, Joshua still has huge money fight potential waiting for him at HW especially if Usyk is gonna cash out and call it a career in 2026. No chance he gives up his cache over a You Tube paycheck no matter how large. Could he carry Paul into some middle round as a courtesy? Sure. Will he allow it to go to score cards? Less chance someone than screaming "bomb squad" at a symphony performance.

Joshua wins by KO at will. Likely Paul's corner calls it.

Other than the Tyson fight, he's struggling to sell the tickets he wants to. The Tank fight was 'tanking' too.

He knows he will lose when he steps up, why not take the biggest money fight available?

No doubt the fight v AJ sells more than Canelo, Crawford or anyone.

It's a cash out. He will be more than set for life after the $50m+ from this.

They also say he was struggling to get under 200lbs too. So why lose to a random heavy for 10m, when you can make 5 times as much.

Mismatch, fraudulent fixed freak show, or actual stand-up fight, whatever the case may be, I don't see anyone saying they WON'T watch this thing.
I'll tune in because I just want to be entertained.

This fight won't be competitive at all. Joshua might kill Jake. I hope Jake doesn't get too badly hurt.

Jake will keep his distance, roll with punches, pray he doesn't get clipped while waiting for 1 opening to throw 1 punch with everything he has.

Bottom line, he's signed most of the top female boxers and is ready to hang em up and focus on making $.

No need to fix the fight, win or loose he's got enough leverage and visibility to make as much $ without ever stepping in the ring again.
I mean AJ has a 'suspect' chin to getting nailed on it or around the temple by world class heavyweights.

Paul naturally would be somewhere between light heavy and Crusier - somehere around 13 and half stone if he's fit and strong. And even then has not competed at the top of those divisions as far as we've seen. I believe him when he says he's sparred top fighters.

It would be a big shock to me if Paul could hurt AJ.

And as you've said we are sort of used to seeing him hurt.

I don't believe he has a punchers chance at all.

This match is an unlikely move on Jake Paul's part.

                Or is it?

I've wondered just how used-up AJ really is these last few years. He looked strangely lacking against Jermaine Franklin and then suddenly dangerous (after an over cautious several early rounds) against a zombie in Robert Helenius. He appeared to get into Otto Wallin's head and had his way with the big Swede in their bout, but how much did Wallin really have left himself by that point? Then AJ looked stellar against novice boxer Francis Ngannou.

When they made AJ vs Dubois I remembered the old rumor from back around 2018; Dubois had manhandled AJ in sparring, dropping him and in some circles, word was he had all but knocked AJ out. When I saw AJ get all wound-up with DD at their pre-fight round table, I knew something was up re the rumors and wondered if he had enough for the revitalized Dubois. As we all now know, DD rag-dolled AJ with apparent ease.

The on again off again promise of a comeback was ****ed with several reasons, but to me, I wondered if they were hiding something.

They say that fans in the U.S. have zero belief in AJs remaining skills and chin, and that they vastly underrate him today, as he is (or is it really, how he appears to be). On some level that may be true, and if so, count Jake Paul among those American ranks. But my instincts suggest there is more to this.

I couldn't help but marvel at Jake Paul's face to face yesterday. Watching them square up, the size difference became readily apparent. But looking closer, I was caught by how much larger Paul's head appears to be than AJ's. I'm curious about their respective fist size. Paul's structure is freakish, as is his level of confidence. While his MO is to go after shot former fighters, the consensus thinking is that this time he's laid his packet out on the table for the world to see, and stepped it up. But has he really? Why do I get the feeling that AJ is more hollow husk than substance, today. His muscular athletic physique suggests ring readiness but is that really an illusion at this point?

There is no doubt in my mind that Paul is a brilliant, hard working and physically talented, tough, circus clown. And I wonder if he is talented and tough enough to play matador with a tired old bull. He thinks he is and he may have conned all of us into thinking he has stepped-up his game, when in reality his eye for the shot has been working overtime.

Look for Paul's voodoo, his witchcraft, to do a number here. Somewhere in the mix, AJ thinks he can get the music playing once again as he did with Ngannou, but most of the band has left and his inactivity will show early. This may in fact be a cash-out, whether AJ knows it or not.

I truly hope I am wrong.

You need to pass whatever it is that your smoking, coz that sht got you high AF and rambling paranoia.

theres a big difference between Dubois and Paul.
and his head looking big because his beard gives an extra 30% to his profile. Plus ******* to much PEDS looking Joe Rogan esque

he looks like a chubby blown up cruiserweight. It’s a mismatch, I wouldn’t get all “Joshua been slipping”
Sure thats true, but it still means nothing.

Jake Paul is an awful boxer at the world stage. And understandably so.

He will struggle with the length, the jab and the timing, the skill, combos and speed of Joshua

he will be intimidated by his power and once he feels it, he will understand why

The step up in class will be insurmountable

Oh and I’ll let you know this … Franklin, Dubois, helanius, wallin would all beat that journeyman as well. Easily.

its ****** posts like yours that even slightly entertains a Paul win that irritates me with this sport. You are exactly the fkn fan that pisses me off. You should know better as it sounds like you’ve got some general concept of the sport. But yet this “I wonder if he is talented and tough enough to play matador with a tired old bull”

                  “I truely hope I’m wrong”

                  fkn lol

                  EDIT:;
I forgot to add, you said he looked “strangely lacking” against Franklin. The man was coming off a loss that he did not take well at all. As someone who boxed previously, I can tell you now, confidence plays a big part. That’s why WHEN fights happen, it matters. Not just WHO.

second, you said “Then AJ looked stellar against novice boxer Francis Ngannou.”

exactly cnt, because that’s what happens when you setup a fkn mismatch. And that’s an actual heavy weight. Now you got a blown up cruiser

Oh And fk you also boxing scene. My god with the ads t hi site has now, it’s actually near unusable.

i been on this site since 2007 and every new update you do gets worst and worst

                  bunch of dcks

                  rant over

This will be the skit that exposed Paul as the fraud he is. The dumbest dummy on earth knows AJ KO's Paul in a minute. Anything else reveals the dirty secret - Paul is a total WWF fraud. The show is over. The irony is it took Tank's woman beating to finally expose Paul, who could not find another worthwhile late sub.
