Filip Hrgovic was never officially "ordered" to proceed because the purse bid was postponed multiple times and eventually canceled. Filip Hrgovic did not pull out of a scheduled fight, but rather the two sides failed to reach an agreement, and the IBF canceled the final purse bid after Hrgovic was reportedly preparing for another opponent.

Efe Ajagba has withdrawn from the IBF-ordered heavyweight title eliminator against Frank Sanchez, reportedly due to a disagreement over the purse split. Sanchez's promoter won the purse bid, but Ajagba was unhappy with the outcome, leading to his withdrawal. The IBF is now expected to offer the eliminator to another fighter, potentially Moses Itauma.

Itauma's team decided to pass on the fight, citing that it was too soon in the 20-year-old prospect's career to face such a high-level, risky opponent. Promoter Frank Warren suggested Itauma needs more "learning fights" before a world title shot.

      13 fights into his career....MAKES SENSE !
Anyone remembers what Duran did to Davey Moore ?!?!?

Richard Torrez Jr. pulled out of the Frank Sanchez fight because, like several other top contenders, he declined the opportunity to compete for the IBF mandatory title shot position. The fight likely had little value for him at this time, and he may have turned it down to focus on other priorities or potential future opportunities, as other fighters such as Moses Itauma and Daniel Dubois also rejected the fight.

      Moral of this story -
A spokesperson for one of the promoters indicated that the eliminator "holds little value" for the fighters involved, making it understandable why they would pass on the opportunity.

He probably took the fight hurt because he couldn't get in the ring with anyone.

Sanchez is this era's Kevin 'Kingpin" Johnson. He had the same problems early in his career. Big & skilled with long arms. He had a great jab & could take a punch. He simply couldn't get anyone to fight him. The old "big risk/little reward"scenario. At 21-0 with a bloated record Vitali Klitschko cherry picked him for a title shot & that was his biggest payday he ever got. After that he chose to become a travelling journeyman. I will never forget one of his fights on Skysports & the commentators clearly pointed out that Kingpin was much better than what he was showing. He would flick his jab & rarely follow it up even though he was much more skilled than his opponent. He would go 10 rounds, lose a decision & go on to the next opportunity. He would fight 3-4 times a year & make his $100000-$200000. He never took too many clean shots due to his skillset but he made some money & got to travel the world much like Obed Sullivan, Monte Barrett, Jason Gavern, Nic Firtha, Ken Lakusta & other journeymen before him. Sanchez might want to go down that route. Do just enough to lose but give guys rounds & invest the money wisely.

Kingpin actually used to post on here for about a year, he told me once that he didn't care about legacy whatsoever, only providing for his family.

So far, the only legit name that is not fighting Frankie is Itauma
                And he's basically a rookie.

All those other names are either wanting a fairer share of the pie or holding out for a more meaningful fight.

I'm sure The Mighty Oilskin Parker would want that Cuban smoke...

...but that battering he took from Wardley will take some healing.
