His fight with Tank was an absolute war if I remember correctly. But yeah, Barrios is probably a B- to B+ fighter who hasn't beaten anyone on the upper echelon. His best win is probably against a 37 year old Yordenis Ugas and I love Ugas but still.

I got Barrios by way of KO. How come Ryan Garcia is able cut in front of the queue after coming off a loss?

Really two losses if one were to factor in the Haney fight. Where he forfeited and got caught cheating.

I was thinking the same, doesn't matter if he ends up with another draw or something happens early in the fight and it ends in a NC as long as he doesn't lose that trinket he'll have some opportunities. Maybe they'll name Floyd champion emeritis and Mario will get another payday.

He looks very beatable, some people recognize him because of the Tank and Pac fights and he represents the low hanging fruit for a title.
