Logic is out the window in a Jake Paul event. The Dubois debacle gave credence to the notion that some of them simply get old overnight, and for some reason, AJ hasn't returned in 15 months. The return kept getting pushed back under various "niggling" reasons. As with the aborted Hasim Rahman Jr fight some years back, Paul has stipulated a 240lb limit for Joshua, who is probably having to pare off 20 or more pounds to make that weight. And that is but one card in a stacked deck in Paul's favor. I'm certain Paul sees something amiss with AJ, who again, is in recovery mode, coming off the shock of being manhandled and ring rusty (even for this day and age).

Look for the unseen to alter the outcome of this yet-to-happen debacle. Look for Paul's witchcraft to take hold as he pitches victory over a zombie. AJ was chosen for a reason. This match makes no sense for a serious fighter looking to regain form but it makes complete sense given the cash-out value of a career quietly already effectively over and waiting to be revealed truly as such.

Jake is too mobile and slick for the big upright, robotic AJ.
I see the same happening JP dazzling and frustrating AJ with his superior movement & athleticism, getting under the big mans punches, AJ will become frustrated and walk into a big overhand right & that'll be all she wrote.

Fans will claim its fixed because they can't appreciate such greatness.

Even at the peak of Joshua's powers, I fail to see how stylistically he'd be able to beat The Face of Boxing. I only hope that Joshua stays true to his word and actually turns up for fight night, as dangerous as it is for him, and does not go to any length to get out of the fight like Gervonta Davis did. Damn! I see that Jake Paul has a lot of haters. Not just among boxing experts but among boxing fans alike.

I know he could be a real prick at times but c’mon! When will you guys understand that this man is all business and could fight?

Everyone is selling him short. He could be the springboard to bringing boxing back to the mainstream again. His only loss was to Tommy Fury.

I agree. He needs to stop these clown shows and start fighting real professional fighters.

He could start with this one. I hope the AJ fight is a real fight. If not I will be very disappointed.

This entire fight, if not scripted or fixed is all up to AJ. He can do whatever tf he wants. He can take out JP in 1, or carry him a bit to thank JP for the massive paycheck he's getting him.

Otherwise, I'm not sure the point here. The entire fight means nothing really for JP. He's all over the place in weight classes and it's hard to take him serious. You think he's going to ever win a real belt against a real challenger whose equally as hungry and not going to lie down?
