from a 175 weight in to 190 is very normal range for a light heavy weight, bivol is considered a 'small' LH and he goes to 185 in the ring, some light heavies will be up too 200 and maybe even more if lighter haney is doing 25 pounds im sure hes not the only 1 either

That's Top Soviet Bivol and Dave's good friend ZURDO who rehydrated 30 pounds at 175
new Dave interview he's on record now wants to outdo Artur performance on Yarde
good question, it would be great if we had this info instead of relying on boxers telling us the info like benny did, he looks wide with muscles so yeah he could well be 190 plus in the ring alrite
David is looking in the best shape he has for years imo. Lean and mean, very sharp. Yarde is a dead man walking.
I agree, since he moved up he has been plagued with bad circumstances.
Against Gvozdyk he had stopped sparring and conditioning himself one month prior the fight, he was stopping prepping as he was going to cancel the co-main with Gervonta Davis vs Frank Martin. Yet opted to do so despite still recovering from a knuckle injury, a arm torn tendon and a cut that needed to heal from the eyebrow.
Against Morrell, David came bloated having moved to Miami partying and eating for half a year (5-6 months) after he had issues with his father and moved out from Seattle. Then he had to make quite a big weight cut from December to January 31 after it was announced in November. (220+ to 175). Which he trained hard at least, but his stamina was affected because more of a rushed weight cut than preparing for a specific opponent.
Now he had 4 month prep time and trained under good conditions after making amends with his main trainer, Jose Benavidez Sr. I think we will see a better version of DB that then one from 2022-2023.

in Dave's two most recent fights
he slowed down in the final 4 rounds of each
each fight was fought in 3 phases
Phase 1 the first 4 rounds starts off guns blazing high pressure all up in the opp's ass
Phase 2 rounds 5 to 8 spear jabbing and boxing the opp
Phase 3 the final 4 rounds foot off the gas pedal slows down neither the brawling nor the boxing is as good as the prior phases
the final 4 rounds are where Gvozdyk and Cuban David each took the bulk of their rounds
Bro I think you're VASTLY underrating Benavidez...he's the 'next guy' in the division and will most likely retire an ATG and HoF (although whether he eclipses Bivol & Benavidez remains to be seen). I expect a back and forth war on Saturday night but think he'll eventually stop Yarde just like Kovalev & Beterbiev both did.
