I expect a back and forth war on Saturday night but think he'll eventually stop Yarde just like Kovalev & Beterbiev both did.
    IBHOF probably

HOF requires bringing attention onto the sport of boxing done with multiple big fights and winning enough of them

    Miguel Cotto is a HOF

ATG is much harder to achieve. Who you beat, HOW you won, When you won

Ability wise I currently have David somewhere between Fernando Vargas and Miguel

Miguel is just bordering great but not quite

straight from David’s own mouth in recent interview aiming to outdo what Artur did to Yarde

it’s fair to judge David based on what he said

time to reassess his abilities after Buff Guy Yarde fight

If benavidez is really losing near 60 pounds from out of camp to weigh in then he is going to have a shortened career like Ricky hattton and be shot by 33-35

And cruiserweight they will just have to match him well, he already had a big drop off in power at 175, he at least still has stamina and work rate but that will be reduced if he keeps abusing his body. He will be under powered at cruiser. I can't picture him with Jai who is large and quick and if he decides David can't hurt him

Anxiously looking forward for this fight ... The Monster has to shine and outclass Yarde ... Not a done deal... Anything but an early KO will be seen as blemish...Again, not a done deal and I can see Yarde out boxing him and winning on points ...

I think Dave would be feather fisted at cruiser

Dave would have use his good spear jab to box more. But his footwork isn’t great

And the cruisers are nowhere near as good as the light heavies

so Top Soviet Bivol took the real wbc off Artur

            That real wbc was vacated

wbc gifts Dave their belt but doesn’t give him the real one that was vacated?

            wth is going on lol

I’ll be super surprised if Buff Guy Yarde outboxes AND GETS THE DECISION

American media hype machine is fully behind Dave

they want him to be the next superstar so bad

Time will tell but David definitely has the size and frame to move up to Heavyweight and win world titles in 4 divisions putting him on par with Cotto. Also, he has EXCEPTIONAL hand speed and stamina for a big guy plus Opetaia is the only real threat at Cruiserweight whereas Usyk is on the verge of retirement.

Let's see what happens tomorrow but I expect a REPEAT of the Beterbiev-Yarde fight i.e. a back and forth war until Benavidez eventually wears him down and stops him late.

why believe in David so much

                  What I see
                  • PROLIFIC bodypuncher
                  • Great guard peeling
                  • Good spear jab
                  • Good defense
                  • Flawed footwork
                  • Not convinced about his stamina he eased off in the final 4 rounds in each of his last two fights and averaged 45 punches thrown per round. Floyd a low volume sniper was 40 per round. Artur averaged 57 per round v Top Soviet Bivol
David is 28. Saul at 28 displayed higher ability. I have Saul as all time great but far from being a super great

I though Fat Dave would look much taller next to him, nice mass of Buff Guy Yarde's pec gotta admit.
