I agree, people on this board have no idea and have not used. You would absolutely have negative effects if using right before a fight. Your stamina would be **** b/c your heart beat would not recover in-between rounds. You will be jittery, and not relaxed while throwing and slipping punches, causing you to gas. Your breathing would be **** and your punches would be stiff and telegraphed.
you nailed itComment

Yes, he's a family man, and did rather well for himself. I guess he kept his drug use moderate, which is a feat in itself with an addictive drug like coke. I think you're being a bit forgiving of Parker about the "join the party" thing. As you said in the next sentence, it was an idiotic move, given his profession.
I gave a couple of replies to this same question a few posts back...
... out of curiosity, does that firefighter look like a regular person when not in service? I can see the kokaine user in someone like Tyson Fury or (needless to say) Oscar De La Hoya. But Parker has always looked like a quiet guy to me. Perhaps he just foolishly tried it while he was with someone, just to "join the party", so to speak? In that case, a very, very idiotic move, for a fighter at that level.Comment

Unfortunately for Joe, he faces the triple whammy; the ridicule and shame of getting popped, losing the fight AND facing suspension. Bad choice on his part if he did indulge.Comment
