The draw was an ok call. I actually thought Mbili edged it by a round, maybe two. Plus there is more money in fighting Munguia. People calling this a robbery or a gift don't know shiat about scoring a fight.

This fight was interesting watching live. They came out to murder each other, landed a lot of punches, and nobody was really ever hurt. Nobody went down. A fight I was hoping for a KO just ended in decision. Highly disappointing.

I honestly don't mind them going separate ways at this point instead of getting a rematch. Them two might be those kind of guys that no matter how many times they face each other and land bombs, neither goes down and it resembles more of a fight where you have 2 high volume pillow punchers which is obviously not the case with these two guys. It's just they look that way when they face each other. In a way similar to GGG vs Canelo.

I would like to see the rematch but Mbilli/Munguia is a good fight on paper. Plus they are prize fighters and will go for the highest purse

it seems Mbilli needs an easy fight for recovery

two back to back high intensity matches drastically shorten a career

He has a lot of subpar fights and the unknown turned out to be a tougher fighter than they thought. Crude but willing Martinez is. Mbilli can't wait no more and needs to take a fight like this.

same eye of the tiger as Artur

                    but Mbilli being moved slowly

                    because Artur is better

Mbilli fun fighter to watch but one dimensional

his one dimension is good but not great

Mbilli shares the same trainer with Buff Guy Artur

Artur the stalker is a pressure fighter too but has a good jab and can do some back foot boxing

                      Mbilli simply lacks these skills

It was his opponent Lester who made the adjustments and started doing boxing moves in their brawl
Yes Lester made more adjustments and Mbilli was lucky to get a draw, nothing in my post says the opposite.

Lester has all the upsides, even a blind man listening to the fight knows it.

The main point of my post was fundamentals.. so you don't think he can learn to step left or right and maybe think before jumping in the trenches? Pitbull and Rolly made basic fundamental adjustments and Mbilli can't?! He must have some insane anger issues if he can't learn that and be more than a punching bag for too contenders..

Time will tell, but no change in trainer means little chance of evolving as a fighter. Just sparring in the right gym will beat sense into any man.
