Did Lubin put a bet on himself to get outta there in 2?! Legit, that was a pitiful display, standing back on the ropes like Vergil just wanted to give him a kiss not knock him into next week👍 1Comment

Ortiz knew that Erickson was a chinny, shot and ruined fighter to begin with. Which was the reason why he took the fight in the first place. This fight was always a setup for Lubin to fail.

No real boxing fan picked Lubin to win. Those guys who predicted Lubin to win were being both biased and subjective. They only picked Erickson to win because they wanted him to win not because he would win.Prior to the fight, I saw a lot people saying that Ortiz would be tested and exposed, even lose this fight. Those same people will now say that Lubin is washed and that Ortiz picked an easy fight. Murtazaliev, Boots, and Ortiz will have to battle it out to see who’s the kingpin of 154.

Erickson is a very nice and likeable guy but he needs to seriously consider retiring now. Boxing is a dangerous sport.
His skills have considerably deteriorated. It’s time for him to get out now before he sustains anymore damage.

Agree with all of that but you need to include Fundora in my opinion. He is improving and starts using is reach to his advantage that combined with his abiliy to fight in the inside and his tremendous will he is a real threat for any fighter.Prior to the fight, I saw a lot people saying that Ortiz would be tested and exposed, even lose this fight. One more, we need to see how got Abass realy is, i followed a lot of his career but in boxing it's about levels and he just beat up Telez but nobody knows what level Telez really is. If Abass can stop Zayas we also need to includ him.
Super Six at 154 where is Turki when you need him, is he busy to put Sheeraz or Queen Ryan Garcia in world titel fights or is he a real boxing fan that wants to make the elite fights.👍 1Comment

Both have amazong skills just different styles. I would say Ortiz showed far better defense High Guard is his thing uses head movement sometimes bounces out just a bit to counter and even sometimes he uses the philly shell for a brief moment.
Again Ortiz is an high level fighter with amazing boxing skills and powerwise probably at least on the same level as Boots. If Boots was just not respected his former opponents and thats why his defense was alway through that trash we have a 50/50 fight.
But if Boots really has that bad of a defense like he displayed in every fight i watched from him, he will not win that fight and most likely get stopped.Comment

Wasn't Canelo supposed to beat Crawford? Yeap, its called professional Boxing my bro, thats why we have to watch the fights, Virgil was favorite to win no doubt but lot folks did said a proven Lubin was going to present a mejor challenge and possibly beat Ortiz pre fight, I must admit Ortiz made it look easier than I thought, didnt expect such quick beatdown, but it is what it is, Now its time for Ennis to step up to the plate and prove his supposed greatness. There is no better fight to make 154. This is it.👍 5Comment

I agree but Canelo the heavily favorite fighter; Lost though. Crawford pulled off the upset and proved all of his haters wrong.

They kept saying that he was too small, there were weight classes for a reason and also that a good big man will always defeat a good smaller man; Which is a myth that Crawford totally debunked.
Skills pays the bills not size. In any case, I tip my hat to Vergil Ortiz. He kept up his end of the bargain by taking care of business inside the ring.
Lastly, no real boxing fan had the shopworn, chinny and ruined Erickson Lubin defeating Vergil Ortiz.
He was a handpicked opponent. He was being set up to fail from the start.
If they did it was because they wanted him to win. They were picking with their hearts and not their minds.
The fight is long overdue. It’s time for Ortiz and Ennis to fight once and for all and may the best man win.
