What is Hearn talking about? "We signed our side" - what the hell have they signed? It's surely not the actual fight contract because that has to have all the details about where the fight will take place. Likely a meaningless statement of intent. He gave ennis a piece of paper that said matchroom will pay him to fight Ortiz. He too dumb to understand that Ortiz gets paid too and will get more than him due to the huge discrepancy in their opponents skill level. It’s ducking 101. Say we’ll fight by saying “we signed the contract” but there’s never been an actual negotiation or any real contract agreed too lol. But somehow Bootsy has signed this imaginary contract.
