Prior to the fight, I saw a lot people saying that Ortiz would be tested and exposed, even lose this fight. Those same people will now say that Lubin is washed and that Ortiz picked an easy fight. Murtazaliev, Boots, and Ortiz will have to battle it out to see who’s the kingpin of 154.

What is Hearn talking about? "We signed our side" - what the hell have they signed? It's surely not the actual fight contract because that has to have all the details about where the fight will take place. Likely a meaningless statement of intent. As a general rule - I hate it when promoters say we've signed our side - the fights never happen.

He gave ennis a piece of paper that said matchroom will pay him to fight Ortiz. He too dumb to understand that Ortiz gets paid too and will get more than him due to the huge discrepancy in their opponents skill level. It’s ducking 101. Say we’ll fight by saying “we signed the contract” but there’s never been an actual negotiation or any real contract agreed too lol. But somehow Bootsy has signed this imaginary contract.

Ennis has got the variety and a lot more on his toolbox than Ortiz Jr, can make it look easy or not that difficult.

It would be some test though, you'd think. Want to see Crawford vs Ennis of course, before Bud retires.

Congratulations and great win by Vergil Ortiz. While I did picked him to win; I didn’t expect him to win in such an impressive manner. So I tip my hat to him.

So now since all of the preliminaries are out the way. Let’s have the real fight that boxing fans have been clamoring for years to see. Jaron “Boots” Ennis” vs Vergil Ortiz.

No more excuses. It’s time to get that fight done.

thats how you lose fans, KO or not.
Let’s cut to the chase. Lubin is a ruined fighter at this point of his career. He needs to retire as soon as possible.

In addition, to being chinny; Both his legs, stamina, accuracy and power are all gone now. Which was the reason why Team Ortiz took this fight.

He was never a serious threat to Vergil in the first place.
