How good do you think Boots is?

He has shown he can take a shot, adjust, adapt to a whole lot of guys and styles, he's shown he can fight 12 hard rounds. The only real question is can he do it at a higher level? Of course he can.
Unproven is say David Price before he got smashed by Thompson just bombing everyone out in a round or two or say an Itauma.Comment

I don't buy Boots resume being as weak as people think, it just lacks the big names and here is why and I am not saying its great, he has a lot to do still but;
He has fought just about every style there is. Most of the guys that get hyped or are supposedly so good are making careers out of fighting practically the same style over and over.
Boots has fought good counterpunchers, punchers, boxers, boxer-punchers, southpaws, pressure fighters. They may not be elite but they are prime not some faded name who can no longer pull the trigger or whose reactions are that big slower.
Stanionis is a decent fighter - Good pressure fighter with a very good, hard stiff jab on him. Educated pressure. Good amateur pedigree. Beaten like he was nothing at all. Best opponent Boots has fought, his best performance. He raised his game.
Even Lima and I am not saying he's this fantastic win (probably fringe contender at best) and styles don't make fights but the reality is Lima took a fight with Aaron McKenna on a day or two noticed and busted him the **** up. People are now starting to say Aaron McKenna is one for the future or knocking on the door. Boots bombed a better Lima out on a full camp like he was a guy fresh out of the crowd and nothing, Lima is simply a bum.
Karen Chukhadzian - Good all rounder from the Ukrainian system. I am not saying he is as good and he's not southpaw like Loma and Usyk are but he is from that schooling. Nobody calls this guy out why? I'll tell you why its because he's got a style that would give anyone a headache. Constantly in perpetual motion - He is always moving and fainting and has great footwork and angles. Great work rate, desire to win. He's always in top shape and has a hell of a chin on him also so going to be there for the long haul.
Stanionis and Karen are top fighters in their division both better and more proven than many of the name value opponents people act like Boots needs to fight.Comment

Stanionis probably beats the hell out of most of the 154 crop.
Its the same thing with Usyk and even Bud people act like bigger is better. When you have elite skills its not its the guys who are closer to them in skill that will give them a torrid time not these bigger, slower guys who are incapable of putting combinations together.Comment

Someone like Fundora sucks like honestly, so bad. I'd not in the slightest bit be surprised if a way past it, old, inactive Thurman whose had a million injuries knocked him out.
There is being flawed or having flaws then there is whatever that mockery of supposed 21st century boxing is.
How can people not see this?
Bakhram, Tim Tyszu, none of them can box.
These two Bakhram and Fundora are being hyped for beating Tim Tyszu who is a domestic level name who was parading about as a belt holder.
I don't think a Tyszu would even beat a Conor Benn or Josh Kelly.Comment
