No mention of Emiliano Vargas? Def think he's bound for superstardom.

I've just watched some highlights of Surov and can see why you're so high on this kid...he has good size, balance, punch selection and moves around the ring very well. He also seems like an intelligent fighter who doesn't rush his work or go in all guns blazing. However, I DON'T think he's quite as good a prospect as Itauma or that Uzbek giant (not Jalolov) but would definitely put him right behind them.

        Good find!
You mean Jakhongir Zokirov? He is giant size man who quickliy comming to his own. The very big heavyweight mature later. He is grade A prospect due his size, offensive skill, chin, and power. And he comes from a father who boxed.

Either him or Surov are the best amaterus that should go pro.

In fact, I was surprised how the commentator's were downplaying his chances because I could see right off the bat he was special. Anyway, although Powar gave him his toughest fight to date, Mosqueda still won a clear decision and ONLY then did the commentator's start hyping him up (talk about being late to the party ).

The way he broke down that lanky SA fighter over the weekend was impressive and I expect him to win the tournament.
I hope he wins the tournament too, not to dismiss Qumalli by any means, he is a puncher and is experienced so anything can happen but Mosqueda is displaying quite more against a wider array of opposition and is pretty notable puncher himself.

The british narrator did seem to heavily back Powar, once he thought that Powar had bounced back quite well in the second round but once Mosqueda started to box more instead of being too aggressive he had then adjusted from round 4 to 6 being less prone to making mistakes and being reckless. The same commentator also he quite favored Ayubkhon Bakhtiyorov over Brandon Mosqueda, thinking the Uzbek was going to ouright dominate and surprise everyone.

Good shout...he looks like a future world champion and POTENTIAL p4p star (although not as good as Bam Rodriguez who I haven't mentioned as he's already cracked the p4p top 10).

Yes that guy...do you think he's a future world champion and p4p star and should be added to this thread? The reason I ask is because you're the Heavyweight expert but I noticed that he lost his most recent fight plus the other Uzbek giant (Jalolov) looked absolutely AWFUL in his most recent fight.

Having said that, Zokirov certainly does have all the attributes and accolades on paper.

Great shout...his one round destruction of Tevin Farmer certainly put a lot of people on notice.
